I've seen so many conspiracy theories here, so many people implying some hidden mystery, often alluding to something being "fishy", even with the coroner's report.
Prince's death was so many things: tragic, frustrating, sad, shocking, infuriating, but it isn't fishy.
He had years of chronic pain, became addicted to painkillers, was surrounded by yes men who enabled him, didn't believe he would die, and didn't stay in the hospital when he should have. He was alone most of the time and was alone when he died.
It's bad enough that we lost him. It magnifies the tragedy when people can't just allow reality to be what it is and not create a mystery that isn't there.
No, it does not.
You do not know the reality. None of us do. We know what we have been told.

No, you say, "Look, you're not looking well. After what happened last week, as your friend/someone that cares about you, I really don't think it's a good idea for you to be all alone. Let me stay close and I promise not to hover. Otherwise, I'd just be up all night worrying myself sick about you and I know you wouldn't want that, would you?"
Or
"Look man, fire me if you must but you've got a serious problem and you need some help! If you won't let me stay or help you, at least let me call somebody you would be comfortable with doing that."
In this case, just following orders very quickly resulted in being out of a Prince-related job/relationship anyway, so maybe just maybe taking some initiative out of care and concern could have had an alternate result.
[Edited 6/6/16 14:12pm]
Perhaps all this was actually said and was still rejected. I find it odd that there seems to be an automatic assumption that those closest to him did not try enough. I'm willing to bet they did, even if they were also enablers at some point. By all accounts it appears that someone was trying very hard to get him some real help as fast as they could.
This may be harsh and a tad bit cold-hearted but it's just honestly how I feel, so I make no apologies about it. I'm willing to bet they didn't because if that were actually the case, they wouldn't have waited until the situation was as dire as it was to do so. Now that I've gotten that off my chest, I'm going to leave it alone, unless given a reason not to.
I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart. |

Hmm. Only a history of several months. Include the throat problems and those are symptoms of arsenic poisoning ... as well as anemia and joint pain. And why would he care about checking to see if Prince had eaten the food he'd made .... ? To toss it ? Jus' sayin' ... [Edited 6/3/16 17:05pm]

Damn it's tough to think about it like that but yeah there are quite a few folks who have some answering to do...how the fuck does the greatest musician ever die alone in a fucking elevator. Some bullshit and yes the shit is suspect to me.
The greatest musician ever dies alone in his elevator because he liked to be alone. If you spend a lot of time alone then the chances are quite large that you will fucking die alone. Mayte mentioned that her husband required a lot of time alone. Everyone knows this about Prince. I sense no bullshit except from the people who clearly don't think before they speak on such matters. If Prince decides to go home and call it a night, you don't just tell him, "No, you look sick. I'm going to force you to let me stay and keep an eye on you. Better yet, I'm going to kidnap you and force you to go to the hospital." You would very qucikly find yourself out of a Prince-related job/relationship.
Well first of all let me say that over the years I have met some nice people on the org, but I came here every day to see what Prince was doing because he is and was my favorite artist ever. But with that being said I dont give a fuck about being banned so lemme just get this shit out and be done with it. Im calling bullshit on this whole fiasco and Im calling bullshit on what you wrote. Mayte is an ex for a reason and so is Mani I dont care how much Prince liked to be alone. We all will die alone, but the physical act of dying we dont have to bare alone. So fuck what you say about he wanted to die alone nobody wants to leave this earth by themselves with no one they love around. Secondly out of all these people that Prince showed love to over the years by putting them in the spotlight and giving them a chance none of these muthafuckas knew he had a problem with painkillers? I dont believe that for one minute. I think they all knew but did nothing! So fuck all of them. The only ones I respect are Morris Day and Andre Cymone because they have kept it real with their comments throughout all of this. While Im at it some of thes moderators here know damn well that when Prince was alive they would close any thread we made about even trying to celebrate his birthday now they all wanna be making "Prince we love u " threads...shit is foul too. And I'll say it again that I believe Prince's death was fishy and I will always believe that. So that being alone shit you can try on somebody else. |

So either the entire story is a farce, or the bodyguard is flat out lying, either way, what could be the motiv to do so? There is a lot more going on here imo, so yeah, fishy, very fishy.

Fishy aint the word...its bullshit. So bodyguard says he wasnt taking anything but his associates say he was in pain and his death results say he died of a fentanyl overdose. So either somebody is lying or its some bullshit going on. |

The logical conclusion is that the bodyguard is lying, either about what he did with his time on duty or about not knowing that Prince was seriously struggling. Dude claims he was "with him up to the day he died" but truth was he was in Texas that week and I haven't seen any link to him actually being the one that carried him off the plane...maybe I missed that.
I find it so odd that people are more apt to believe a bodyguard that, according to him, had a sketchy past but Prince took a chance on him when no one else would (same guy, right?) than to believe Prince's associates, doctors, those that arrived to help him, the police and the medical examiner.
Who exactly is this "they" that you guys keep speaking of? You know, the ones that are gonna make all this money from killing Prince.

What????? Nobody (in the two comments you replied to) has said "they" were going to make money by killing him...not sure where you got that from. I can definitively say I never said that. The "they" that you are referring to is his heirs of course. They are the ones who stand to inherit all of it and would most likely want to put the kibosh on any negative publicity in relation to his death. How was it verified that this person on facebooks 'story' is true? Or that the person is even who she says she is? If there is no verification, this info is just as shady as the tabloids themselves.

If Prince knew he was dying, he would have had a will in place. So that's total crap as far as I'm concerned. What's the name of the person who posted that on Facebook?
People are so keen to ascribe a conspiracy theory to everything these days, it beggars belief. I have rolled my eyes so much over the last few weeks at some of the theories going around (such as the Illuminati killing Prince...please) that it's a wonder that I can still see. |

Ok, just so I'm clear. Some of you Bozo's believe that although Prince essentially died TWICE of an (established as FACT) opiod OD, he would have died soon anyway because he had Ebola, SARS, or some other type of terminal illness? Is that the story that makes those living in Weirdoland make sense of this all? My goodness. Reading all this nonsense, the only thing that's terminal nowadays is the sanity and legitamacy of those who troll this website...

Sorry, but sometimes there is information to be found in what some would term "nonsense". I do not want to be quoted anywhere so I am providing what people need to put it together for themselves. Paying attention is key to most things. If you don't want to look for it for yourself...well, I am sorry but I'm not going to just give a name.
