Well, if he faked his death he may well be in control of his music. But he may not be bound by a contract anymore - he doesn't exist. That would be a master stroke. Watch out for how releases unfold, and how much of a 'princey' decision(arbitrary, illogical...) they might be. If you think this is outlandish, think about how a man can perform and work like he did if stuffed with fentanyl and percocet. Extraordinary people do extraordinary things. For me, Prince felt 'Prince' was well beyond his peak and needed retirement. A complete spiritual rebirth. The rules of Earth didn't apply to him.
