You'll find people on ebay calling bootlegs "promos." Neither The Chocolate Invasion or Slaughterhouse were ever released on CD. They were downloads only from the NPGMC and are available now in (supposed) lossless quality on Tidal. Same goes for Xpectation and C-Note.

The hilarious bit is other than Madhouse (both CDs) auction -- the first 7 you see listed are bootlegs. Most of those listed on that first page are bootlegs.

Well, at the current prices I can strongly agree.

But in these years I add to my collection limited edition factory pressed CDs of all the important NPGMC releases (at normal prices) and I have to say that I'm not feeling myself a fool.
Simply someone who prefers to add a CD release to an only digital download release.

I saw one Prince LP on Discogs listed for $11,000. It was an alleged original LP pressing of The Black Album.

I have CB 5CD but sadly only have The War cassette.

Those NPGMC singles only sold at shows are pretty expensive too, I think.

Yeah, you're right.
I never tracked them that much, from the beginning prices too high for 2 short tracks each (and not so wonderful).

To be honest I collected all singles CD from P 'till that moment.
When I realized that my collection was forced to miss something I started to avoid uninteresting releases (like the "Guitar" CDS, to say one).

I paid over $100US for that one several years ago. I can only imagine it's going for a lot more now.

Yes. I have a copy. Acquired 20 years ago from a private seller. Thankfully the seller didn't scam me, because this was before ebay. You see one come up every few years.

Nothing exclusive on them, anyway.

Talking of P promo compilation, to me the only one of real musical interest is "The Crown Jewels" that AFAIK is the only CD releases of "Batdance (The Batmix Edit)" and it has many single edits (like "Alphabet St" and a version of "Partyman" without Jack Nicholson intro).

Tracklist far more interesting than the Japan promo CD and more trackable without to sell a lung.
