the bag wasn't a good decision imo... but it's certainly not worth the hatred being spewed forth here
I think there's several factors in how each individual interprets that one word. Drugs have never been a part of my life, so upon seeing that bag for the first time a drug dealer is the very last thing that would have come to mind.
First thing that came to mind is a person who deals with whatever life throws their way.
Second thing that came to mind is she's in Vegas, and who is in charge of the thousands of gambling tables there? Dealers, as in the ones who distribute cards in casinos.
If I had to bet (no pun intended), I'd say she posed with that bag partially because she was in the gambling mecca of the world. The drug dealer angle doesn't even make sense, because it's widely believed that all the pills Prince may have been taking were legally prescribed by doctors and obtained from pharmacies.
Now if she was carrying THIS bag, THEN we'd have a REAL reason to be upset:
There are people who will hold onto a Lie and that vision changes the truth and paints it who they choose to agree with a lie. Nothing more that we can do or say I believe. People don't acknowledge, after all the vile and disgusting things they've said about the elevator, that they were wrong and saw things wrong. "I will send them strong delusion to believe the lie they choose"

At MAWI.co.uk - these luxury handbags are labeled as part of the "Criminal" series.
Some of us were already familiar w/the designer's line and their 'Criminal" marketing. Criminal + Dealer = drugs.
What do you see when you look at the other bags in Mawi designer's "Criminal" series, like the one w/the word "Thief"?
Cute photoshop - I'm sure that clutch is much cheaper than the real thing.
Was she promoting the entire line, or just the "Dealer" one?
Either way, there's no correlation with Prince ... he was allegedly using prescription pills from pharmacies, not illegal pills from a drug dealer.
"Never let nasty stalkers disrespect you. They start shit, you finish it. Go down to their level, that's the only way they'll understand. You have to handle things yourself." |

All is forgiven...truth is...STILL sounded like ass. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. |

She's forgiven as far as I'm concerned. The tribute was flat, weird before those photos and her provocative captions told us what's in her heart.
But this fits the pattern of her famous past behavior, paraphrased as
"Preemptively, proudly not giving a sh*t - for the sake of being talked about".
And for that reason, I won't forget.
Times have changed... back in the day she only had to care what the press thought... and her obnoxious behavior kept her relevant while selling their mags/rags. Back then we bought/paid for it which was a form of consent. But today - her beyond the pale antics go straight to the people (for free) and she has to hear about it, directly.
