How many Prince's album out of the "39" do you own?

Since Prince's passing, some magazines, websites and even radio/TV people are talking about Prince's "39 albums." Since technically, P was also involved in numerous side projects as such - I was just curious - out of the 39 - how many of them do you guys have? No shame if you don't own all of them. (I don't.) Just would love to know how many, and if you since Prince's passing - you intend to give a second chance or discover some that you didn't.

36- my copy of PR and DM are MIA though I do have them on cassette and vinyl, no turntable or cassette deck.

I think I also also missed Exodus somehow. My computer crashed and I haven't had time to copy the back up over.
Surprise, surprise.
Another treat. Another trick.

I have all of them you could actually buy a physical copy of except For You, Dirty Mind, Plectrumelectrum and HitNRun Phase Two.

Why For You and Dirty Mind? The Hits and B-Sides covered both pretty well, and I always like to leave a few albums from my most favorite artists for a rainy day.

The others? I am an album or two behind on most of my favorite acts - life got in the way the last few years. I am digging Art Official Age and Phase One though.

I bought Expectation this weekend, also all the new singles (I was behind). It means I don't have Crystal Ball, One Night Alone live, and 1999, nor Slaughterhouse, Chocolate Invasion or Plectrumelectrum. Slaughter and Plec I don't really want.

I'm missing "One Night Alone...", "One Night Alone...Live" and NEWS...

...and my copy of 3121 is MIA which is really bothering me. I store everything in a closet just for music, after being ripped to iTunes in ALAC, so I don't know why it's not there.

All--and I paid for all of them at least once (either as individual albums or as part of memberships) except for 20Ten. And I have them all in physical format excpet for the ones that weren't released physically (and the aforementioned 20Ten, which I only have as digital files). It's not quite as complete with associated acts, but almost so. I have bought the core protege acts albums at some point, but a lot of the more peripherally related acts I didn't buy. I think I have everything Prince was actually involved in except for a few mixes/edits--but a lot of that's been found as downloads over the years.

As to rediscovering or giving a second chance... I never made a hard break with any of the albums before. I may not have loved some as much as others, but I never said "I'm not listening to that again ever," and honestly most of what he released is at least "good"/"interesting" to my ears.

Don't have ONA piano, Kamasutra, Goldnigga, or any of the 80's associated artist Japanese and Germany cd only albums, which I have on vinyl. Still various b-sides and rare singles I only have on download. I'll be collecting for many years to come

If you bought a physical copy of Xpectation you bought a bootleg. It's currently only available at Tidal.

I've got them all on Cd, many on cassette and vinyl. I have the npgmc albums also. Also have the NPG cd's, but some how my goldnigga cd got lost so the box is lonely. Never could miss anything that was released. HNR Phase 2 and For You vinyl arrived in post this week, pre-ordered in late March. 1st and last albums on the same day 3 weeks after he passed away. I don't count ultimate or the very best of as these were released by warners after he left. I always felt disloyal about that. The hits/b sides is different- that was a prince release for me.

I've got every Prince CD ever released in the states, except Phase 2 which I'll be picking up soon.

And a whole bunch of Prince-related CDs or cassettes ...

Girl 6

94 East
Madhouse8
The Family

The Time (all)

Mazarati (far underrated album BTW)
Showgirls

And a bunch of extended version CD & album singles

Have them all on CD except for One Nite Alone Piano. I quit the NPGMC a couple months before it was released.

I even have both the Parental Warning and Clean versions of both Emancipation and The Love Symbol album. Was even able to get a copy of Goldnigga.
