I wasted 5 minutes of my life watching Lady Gaga's horrible tribute to my #2 favorite artist David Bowie (and I actually admire Gaga's vocal talent). But I don't want to waste 2 hours waiting through the Billboard Awards (which I would never normally watch) to suffer listening to those shakey vocals through Purple Rain. I'll come back after its done, and if enough people say she actually didnt sound as bad as that clip then I might watch it online afterwards.

Well, we know who's singing Purple Rain with Madonna, but what about the guitar? Could still have a special guest for the solo?

Yeah, it will be tough. But it might be even tougher to get through all the crap performers first. It wouuld be great if they opened the show with this so that all of us real fans could go to sleep right afterwards.

That Britney opening was brutal. Based on the first break to commercial, seems like the Prince tribute will be much later in the show.

Madonna is the biggest name scheduled, so yeah I'd expect her to be toward the end of the show. Not sure if it will be the very last performance, but you could be right.
