Let's Out Ourselves... Those of us who've pulled a funk-face while listening to 'Jughead'. We who play Planet Earth in its entirety, knowing that it's not a masterpiece, but hell we like it. Those of us who smile at 'Wedding Feast'. And yes, we do sing along to 'Everybody Loves Me'. Bopping to 'Stop This Train' is a pleasure. And us proud people who have recently got a smidge excited when 'Mr. Nelson' starts to speed up. Anybody else want to join in the confessions? Honestly, no-one will judge you... Ok. I like ALL of The Newpowersoul album, and I rock both "Never be another like me" and "Life of the Party". Honestly I don't get the negativity LOTP gets. I love it! It's far too short to get angry about really, it's a silly little segue which is fairly entertaining in it's own way, not some kind of musical hatecrime as some claim. Heavenly wine and roses seems to whisper to me when you smile...

I actually like all of those, and sometimes I'm just in the mood for Jughead. It reminds me of 1991, and NPS just has a "dark" feel that I sometimes like. I think the ONLY Prince song I can't enjoy listening to is Purple & Gold. | |
