Horny Pony is goofy and fun!

He had already used the 'horny pony' concept in 1988,on the Lovesexy album ("you jerk your body like a horny pony would") and on the Black Album ("up and down,up and down, like a pony would").I thought it was disappointing to see him recycling that same idea several years later.Plus, the song is an obvious throwaway lol Furthermore,do we really wanna envision what a pony does when it's horny?! LOL

Okay, here's one for y'all: I think Rave Un2 is a better album than TGE. It's the second best Prince album of the 90's, only behind the Symbol album.

Prince saw his first horse with an erection in 1987. It took him by surprise and he obsessed over it for a couple of years. You should Google it, it is well documented.

Ok. I like ALL of The Newpowersoul album, and I rock both "Never be another like me" and "Life of the Party". Honestly I don't get the negativity LOTP gets. I love it! Especially the interplay of those big drums and horns...and it includes Prince's signature OW-WAH scream to top it off! [Edited 9/15/15 16:22pm]

I actually love Never B Another Like Me. Yes, it's true. It's the only song I fully enjoy on MPLSound.

I think the Gold Album is his most boring album ever.

I think Prince's lyrics are the least interesting about his music, I never agreed on his theology, hence I am not as offended as many by the lyrics of the Rainbow Children, since it didn't come as that big a surprise.

I think My name is Prince is a great rap.

Oh this is good...

I LOVE the song 'Planet Earth'. EPIC. Amazing. Pure Prince. Amazing screams and guitar solo.

I LOVE 'Animal Kingdom'... very Hendrix-like.

I LOVE 'Freaks On This Side' and 'Push It Up' from NewPowerSoul. Amazing backing vox. FUNKY and dark.

I LOVE 'Compassion' from 20ten... and the rest of the album too.

I ADORE the entire N.E.W.S. album and Xpectation.

I think the 'Lotusflow3r' album is one of his best.

Not a big fan of 'The Gold Experience' album.

'The Rainbow Children' is STUNNING. Brilliant musicianship, concept, lyrics, flow...

.

Shall I continue?

I've never been in the closet about my fondness for stuff largely disliked - like Planet Earth, Resolution, All The Midnights, We Gets Up, Courtin' Time, NPS.
.
In recent years I've even seen a turn around on Ronnie Talk 2 Russia, once one of the most despised track on here but my personal #1 favourite.

I like his voice, for a rapper. (Prince/Tony M/Rosie Gaines= new power trio. Too bad Rosie didn't stick around. Princes most formidable bandmate--see Arsenio Hall "Daddy Pop" performance for proof!) "Jughead" is pretty good! Jughead/Housequake medley would be awesome
I actually like Tony M's contribution to the Diamonds and Pearls album; Willing and Able in particular, but I struggle a bit with him on the Symbol album. But then I do like his bit on Love 2 the 9s.

I do too. Especially on "Live 4 Love".

"Live 4 love, without love U don't live
And how U make it is based on what U're givin' back
In fact only a few of us slip through the cracks
Through generations the cards have always been stacked against us
So love each other, it's a must (Live 4 love)"

I also love the Gold Ngga album. One of my favorite Prince-related cds.

Not far enough! Sometimes it takes me a long time to make it through Rave because I have to listen to some songs several times and I keep hitting the back button.

I have grown to love NPS.

Emancipation is one of my fave albums.

I really don't like Exodus.

I hate the Symbol album.

Think the Black Album is WAYYYY better than Lovesexy.

Likes

I like My Name Is Prince

I like The Arms of Orion

My favorite song on Controversy is Ronnie Talk 2 Russia

I love Stopthistrain
