Marco81 said: Some of you are really pathetic. As soon as you like a new track, I hear the comment "must be something from the vault"...Get over it! Sounds like you're the one that needs to get over something champ. You're what, the 170th comment and everyone likes it and there's just two people who said they'd not be surprised if it was a vault track. Doesn't seem worthy of you getting your knickers in a twist eh? You need a hug? If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

Did I complain about the negative reactions to the song? I don't think so. Read a post carefully before commenting with bullshit

Eye'm sick of that remark also.. Like he can't b capable of sitting in the studio anymore by himself and create a new one on a whim.. will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

after the strange detour into sub standard modern pop music that is hitnrun...this is the prince we know...a great 80s style groove with some nice synths and acoustic guitar touches...this one is on heavy repeat...along with the best track on hitnrun....1000 hugs and kisses...love it..he aint lost it..

It reminds me of a few other songs, Rock and Roll Love Affair, Hot Summer and a bit of Controversy toward the end. I really like it though.

I could be the only one but it kind of reminds me of Andre Cymone too the acoustic guitar touches and the "uplifting" type of lyrics is the kinda stuff Andre Cymone would come up with these days [Edited 9/29/15 6:17am]

The more I listen to it the more I'm liking this, just wish it went on a bit longer. Love the happy upbeat lyrics. He really can go from the sublime to the ridiculous and back again.

Well, I feel almost like a buzzkill here. I like it. But not more than average. I'm not digging it as much as most of you seem to be.

I think it's great. It's Prince imitating his own 80s sound á la '20Ten', but just because it's nothing new doesn't mean it can't be fun. I'm also genuinely amazed by the amount of positivity here. God knows it's normally a nest of vipers on the Org.

With the exception of Sticky Like Glue which is the BEST IMITATION of his own 80's sound... This one is natural, not forced, no imitation, just finally a throwback sound that sounds great.

Who else thinks the best part of the song is at 2:27 when he says Love Urself in that low tempo... So cool.

I do. Wish it was longer. Got the whole thing stuck in my head since yesterday. Good stuff!

Was just about to fall asleep last night when I read on the org about this new song. I don't rembember such a positive feedback for new music here so I had to jump out of bed and listen. Well, it was worth it to loose a little sleep because this song is great Prince sounds relaxed, happy and smooth and the sound of the song is 80's but still not dated. I sure hope this songs shows up on an album, Phase 2 or other. If Prince has no plans for Phase 2 or other album in near future, he must be thinking "Wow, why did I not put this on Hitnrun along with Stare!".

I really like this track. It's VERY like 'Toy Box' that he wrote for Sheila E. Seriously, listen to Toy Box after Free Yourself. The deep vocal parts remind me of Prince's vocals on Sheila's 'Yellow' Also a bit of 'Oliver's House' in there. Catchy as all hell. ENCORE! “Tuna, you better do something or else we gonna have to put you back in the can!”

With you on 'Sticky like Glue'. What's most impressive about that song is that it manages to be good despite featuring what is probably Prince's worst ever rap, in close competition with the "you got to be well educated on the subject of fights, I mean prevention of" in 'Sexy MF'. What the hell was he thinking?
