I think it was called "Excess Space" and I want to hear the whole thing as well as "Revelation." In face, I DEMAND to hear those songs as well as the Dylan-esque acoustic song onthe psychedelic video!

I didn't enjoy this, but it didn't annoy me as much as others. I would have liked to see/hear him play two songs from AOA and two songs from PlecElec. But, I will say that he could have gotten a host with something other than air between her ears. I never thought anyone could be worse than Troy Beyer, but tonight I was proven wrong. Good Lawd that chick is dizzy, and not in a good way. However, I did enjoy "Pretzelbodylogic" so the night wasn't a total loss.

Ok this was never billed as a concert. It was billed as a album release party and their were reports that Prince wasn't even going to perform and yet he plays tracks from both albums and has a host tour paisley, you got sneak peeks at 3-4 unreleased new songs, a couple jazz numbers and the dude actually gets on stage and does some songs and then does a duet with Kendrick but that isn't enough. He's gotta give you people a full suite of clean performances just because you say so. It's just supposed to be a live release party, streamed on line. Lots of people have unrealistic expectations. Let's compare to Kanye who had people believing he would perform only to watch a single video being played on the side of a building. and yet this is the worst thing to ever be a thing? Really? Prince fans are sooooo weird.

Clearly stupidity is rampant here as I am responding to someone who thinks a live release party was designed to sell records in an era where records don't sell for an album that is fully leaked. And now that that's over, that was horrible, she was cute but annoyingly daft ( the host Mya ), the song PTZLBDLGC was lackluster save the Kendrick guest appearance and Liv's brief spot was blahhh. I can honestly say that this little blip of a show did nothing to help him sell more records but I can also see that it was too good to be true to expect a full 90+ concert for free.

Man, I dont see why all the hate. Maybe its just been a LONG time since I've seen him live. I havent had time to give the new stuff a listen yet, but other than the host and the confused and lifeless audience, I really enjoyed the tour, the snippets of new music, and I thought the live concert was great! I love the sound with 3rd eye girl, it takes me back to his early days when he could still rock. I think they have had a very positive influence on him.

Yahoo billed it as a concert on their website today. Prince sent out a notice to Twin Cities people tonight that it was a concert. Quit defending bullshit.

Billed as LIVE RELEASE PARTY streaming through YAHOO's CONCERT CHANNEL. There was nothing intended for it to be a concert ever. You inferred it so you got disappointed. Not defending BS just pointing out the obvious.
