I love the chipmunk voice ...it's completely out of left field and makes me laugh everytime. I think it sounds more like Donald Duck, though. I keep imagining Donald saying "Come here, baybay!" to Daisy lol...

Wo it's the opposite for me. The Continental seemed like horrible stupid pop with no edge or hook, worse then Roxette, but then the rap part sounded good. I like the telephone filter on the voice too. Love the music.

There are many examples I could give, but one that comes to mind is the song 4ever.. its a pretty decent track but he completely ruins it with the last lyrics..

First its the "Stop looking at me like that unless you want me to bite that" which kinda sounds juvenile coming from a man his age, and then the nail is put into the coffin by:

"I don't wanna kiss your lips, until I get to,, uh, your hips"

What type of shallow-@$$ statements are those in a song about loving someone forever?? So he doesn't want to kiss anyone until after he's had sex with them?? Maybe I'm too much of a romantic, but that completely ruined the song for me. I don't even like listening to it anymore.

I feel the same about "Last December". I like the chorus for what it is, as it's so catchy, but I wish he would have either come up with something else or left it out altogether. It just doesn't fit the verse to my ears. The verse sounds quite sophisticated, but the chorus is too mawkish to complement it.

Yes I agree and I always felt that this song could have been one of his best and strongest in the 00's but he ruins it with that chours

I don't mind the admission that he didn't write it, but the "I Love You Baby" just makes it unlistenable.

The worst has got to be Temptation though.. the God talk never amused me.

That moment in 'I Could Never...' on the SOT DVD, when after the line '...we'd never be satisfied' he smirks to camera, 'at least I wouldn't....'

He trades on the tender sentiment of the song for the sake of a cheap macho joke. I still love the CD version of course but maybe its sincerity has been undercut a little in my mind....
