The track is available to buy right now at 3rdeyegirl.com! So, guess it's time to stop sharing those free links?

It's $0.88 and doesn't have the word video in the title, so, I assume it's the same track that was given to EyeJester. Guess we'll know soon enough...

wink

Agreed. I downloaded it because I was anxious to hear it and now I'll buy it to keep it legit. Jester, you alright with me!

If I was to find out that it was supposed to be just for Jester and that he was not supposed to share it, then, I will feel compelled to do the same and buy it.

But, I don't expect that to happen. I trust Jester would not have shared it without permission to do so.

EDIT: And, the odds seem high I'll be buying a video of this in the next day or two, so... wink

I might bei n the minority here (been THERE before) but totally dig this track. A nice way to start off the weekend!

Yeah! Totally loving it now. set VLC player at 75% volume and this track is sounds crystal clear thru headphones. There is this distortion effect in the start of the song and end of the song but its part of the song it swirls from right to left. I'm not sure what others were hearing but I'm guessing they were playing the youtube version?? LIVE OUT LOUD is just as good as the newer tracks released so far to me.

What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?

What a great gem.
Super - Prince is reborn ! Love all the new tracks.

What you people seem to forget in this fast internet age, is that Prince's music needs more then one or twenty listens a day..
Listen to the it over and over again, and after a couple of days/a week, come back and be honest. He still is a master in creating and crafting a song.

He probably isn't all that original anymore, but still the man knows how to be a genius in the details !

Downloaded last night for free, then bought it. I like the sound. It is appropriate for the style. Yes, we are used to crystal clear sound from Mr Nelson, but I don't hear any ugly clipping on this tune. The kick drum sounds sounds like it is triggered / layered with a dance kick which may be causing this perception. Also, nobody's vocal cuts through / fills up a mix like Prince's does.

No complaints here, I just hope we keep getting music like this on a regular basis. Go buy it!

As of late, every time I hear a new Prince song, I go, okay...not bad...maybe it'll grow on me... And... I'm getting so tired of that! This is a 54 year old trying to do teenage pop music! He can do so much better... I just WISH he'd get himself a harmonica and a few bottles of Jack Daniels and play the blues... I know I will...

The lead vocalist (Hannah?) has a good voice, but something about her singing that line about the ghetto just strikes me as odd. Both for the genre and her voice.

And something about the rhythm section is jarring to me as well... the bass seems slightly out of pocket or the effect on the kick drum has a kind of clipped sound... a more ambient kick and bass would loosen up the rhythm section and give the song a lot more free vibe that the lyrics are calling for. Right it sounds as though it were at odds with the rest of the song.

I assure U '3rd Eye' assured me to share it with as many people as possible, and that is what I did. They let me know, it was a gift, and it was up to me IF I wanted too, and of course I could not keep it for myself! Haha After they requested I removed the link from my video's description, so that people can just share it until the single dropped, I did that, and now it is on their site for a single you can download! The video is coming soon, and I can't wait to purchase that! This is how '3rd Eye Girl' Works, and I quite love the suspense and adventure of it all! I purchased the song again, just because the sound is so amazing, and I want to support the,!

I'm hearing the same thing on the kick. I think it translates well for what we are hearing on the radio today though. The bass line in the verse is kicking. Not much room for the bass to do anything else in the chorus than what is already being done. It's a driving song.

Wow.

The people who are comparing this to "current" music ... maybe it sounds like the current Top 40 type pop junk. I wouldn't know, because I can't stomach that stuff.

But I see a lot of people saying that this sounds like a "hip" alternative-type ban. An orger I respect even mentioned Liz Phair?! I'm trying to keep it together but holy fuck that could not be more off the mark.

Indeed. It's wannabe-Avril Lavigne.

I checked 3Eyes place before I came here. Saw something new and bought it out of curiosity. No bother doin that now btw. Heard the first few bars and didn't like it. Didn't get any better once I heard the lead so the less said about that the better. Then I came here to read the bitchin.

It cost me pennies for a throwaway track but it was worth more to come here and find out how it was dropped. How cool was that? Poor ol Jester wont be sleepin for days. He must be buzzin. I've read the gushing and the positivity but where's the harm in that? There's plenty of time for pissing and moaning, crack on with ya positivity while you've got it. Just hope he likes the tune cos that'll be 'his' tune for life.

I didn't know I coulda got it free if I wasn't busy earlier. Well worth the money for the way he dropped it.

Now can we have the good stuff please?

You all trashed Planet Earth, but you actually like this song??

Aiiight then! Oh well... at least it's not a Prince song, and he didn't play any instruments on it.

Now the original "Screwdriver" I could dig... big time. This? Not.
