I'm happy for those that enjoy this song, but I think it's generic and totally forgettable.

This is a really great upbeat pop-rock number and I love it cause its so catchy! The chorus just doesnt stop and with his backing vocals make it even better! Inspiring!

This grows and grows...very catchy....

Really has a summer festival vibe about it.

Prince has a hit on his hands....one that can reach the mainstream again too......if he'll deal with the distribution to the non hardcore....ie promote it and Itunes it.

It's great to have an uptempo song again, he used to do a lot of those in the 80s....but hasn't so much of late...it's great.

I want to say she has...not consistantly as Levon, but I think she sang at least a few times in concert while being Prince's drummer.

BTW, no need to educate me about Levon...probably the biggest Band/Levon fan here. Dude was a legend. Music from Big Pink is one of best albums ever...the Brown album is almost as good. The stuff he did just before he died and his Barnburners rank up there as well. He wil be missed that is for sure.

I assure U '3rd Eye' assured me to share it with as many people as possible, and that is what I did. They let me know, it was a gift, and it was up to me IF I wanted too, and of course I could not keep it for myself! Haha After they requested I removed the link from my video's description, so that people can just share it until the single dropped, I did that, and now it is on their site for a single you can download! aside from the bridge which is as bad as most of prince bridges that tend to ruin his more decent recent ideas .. this is actually a pretty good little song .. i like her voice the wierd guitar wash the driving feel .. this is the first song in the entire batch that i feel is pretty good .. if this was the worst song on a new prince record it would be a decent prince record .. if prince was up in the vocal mix a little more it could sound like a pretty cool prince and the rev track .. i wonder who wrote this .. i am pretty sure prince did the bridge .. but the main part of the song is so much better than anything else he is selling these days .. it is free so probably the girls wrote this one .. for some reason it reminds me of thunder .. i don't know why .. it would be a good opening track on a record

I couldn't agree more. Someone else also commented about being tired of these Prince songs having to grow on you. That's how I feel. I am so glad I heard this one for free before paying for it.

Reminds me of 1994-5 in the way that a lot of the songs from then seemed to have strange breaks in them, where the song shifts abruptly and weirdly--"The Same December" comes to mind. It's OK..

If anything the novelty is in the change of pace of the song and rhythm flips (the reggae segues r interesting...)

But really....I can't take anyone seriously who says this is the best of the most recent 3rd Eye Girl downloads...
