This is cool - could've been cover or promo art had it been a single. The "butterscotch clouds" give it a Rene Magritte feel.

Just be careful where he's concerned. He has become very evil these days when it comes to thngs like that. A few years ago, people were afraid he might sue them for their tattoos.

I've been a toy collector for years, and I've seen LOTS of custom dolls & action figures. Many of them are quite incredible. I've seen some that I would declare complete works of art, to be sure. In short, it ain't easy to impress me! Troy, your doll is INCREDIBLY impressive! The detail on it is astounding! I've always wanted to do my own custom action figure of Prince, but this raises the bar so high it's in the freakin' clouds!

Now, I have to ask...any chance of you doing some Lovesexy era outfits? I'd love to see 'em!

It would be a great idea. But sadly it will NEVER happen. Prince doesn't believe in idol worship. Ur chance of getting him to endorse a doll in his honor, is just as lost as Prince ever getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame...He just isn't in2 things like that anymore. Plus the JW's wouldn't approve of it or Larry.

@ KCool. How is collecting a doll that looks like him the same as idol worship? Troy hasn't mentioned afaik, trying to market a Prince doll without getting his approval. I'm really not trying to dispute your statement, because you may be 100% right. Just don't see the difference between being an idol worshipper if I buy a doll, as opposed to a Prince cd, poster, concert ticket, etc. Just asking.

Thanks, Funklov! Gosh - that's a lot 2 consider. If it happens, I'd probably just make the doll as a singular piece w/1 outfit - maybe offer other outfits separately? It'd be cool 2 have a series with the various looks - do like 10 of each look, keep it uber limited. I don't want the quality 2 go be lessened by production. Thanks 4 ur thoughts and compliments!
