Unfortunately, and I hate to say this but it's true, Prince would probably lecture him on it being "idolatry" or something. Prince has a rather inconsistent viewpoint on this. He won't sign autographs, because it's "idol worship", but he has no problem selling t-shirts and other merch with his name and face emblazoned with it. It has nothing to do with his being a JW either, since plenty of the folks I know that are Witnesses have no problem with music merch or autographs. It's just his quirky interp of Scripture.
Prince, if you're reading this, it isn't intended as "worship", but rather as a tribute. There's a difference between the two. If I owned something like this, it would be displayed in the same manner as any poster or other memorabilia. The only difference is that I'd probably take goofy photos of him seducing my daughter's old Bratz dolls or battling Freddy Krueger! No "worship" involved, just admiration of the artist and the subject he is paying tribute!
