Hi friends!

I'm still working on the possibility of a limited edition run, folks. I'm thinking the editon will max out at 25 pieces at a price yet to be determined, but it'll have to be around $1500 to make it worth it for me. I make things for a living, and this isn't your everyday Ken Doll - It's art, not product (although I actually do see art as product of sorts), and if I treat it that way, I think I'll be fine, legally speaking. I don't want to get into the money aspect of this enterprise and I don't want to have to defend the pricing (this is highly crafted, labor intensive work), as it was not my initial intention to profit from this, but if the demand is there, I'd like nothing more than to put Le Petit Prince in the hands of true fans. I thank you all for your love and support of my work - it truly means everything to have people enjoy what you do - it's why I do it.

And now, may I present:

I'm loving the underwear, trenchcoat and stocking look! That little "rudeboy" pin, the little black heels, and the pubic hair up to his navel -- brilliant!

The only little nitpick is that le Petit Prince in the When Doves Cry bathtub needs a crucifix necklace, not the symbol.

Wow, the MOTORCYCLE! The details are amazing. Love the Parade look w/ the slicked back hair, too. The background album covers are fantastic too - dirty mind, parade, PR, did you paint those?

Looking forward to seeing your Apollonia.

Is this thing going to be marketed? Some friends came over last night and I had told them I had to show them this doll and they were like "yeah whatever" but when they saw it they were like, "holy hell!" They were so impressed!

It's so fantastic and I know it would sell like crazy!

UPDATED INFORMATION regarding Le Petit Prince (from http://www.troygua.com/wo...it-prince/)

Hello, friends.

Le Petit Prince was made late in 2011 in an attempt to cleanse myself from what I had been making and felt was becoming cynical and self-indulgent work. I wanted to make something that made me happy. It worked. Prince changed my life and view on the world at a young age (as a friend recently said: "artists help us see colors we didn't notice before"), and I wanted to pay tribute to a man that has influenced and inspired me like no other. As an amazing by-product, the artwork began getting a lot of attention via social media, and the feedback has blown me away. I'm so grateful to have met so many wonderful, positive, loving and supportive people because of this little guy. It really has made me feel like I am indeed on the right path. I can't thank you enough for all the positivity.

Now, to address some frequently asked questions: What you are seeing is various shots of a unique doll wearing different clothes - there is ONLY ONE, and he's not for sale at this point. As for the possibility of reproduction, I have no intention or desire to break any laws or piss off my hero, so without the express consent and cooperation from Prince himself, I will not be reproducing this artwork. I would love nothing more than to put Le Petit Prince in the hands of true fans, but without Prince, it can’t happen. Prince, if you’re out there, I’d love to hear from you.

If the time comes when I am able to make reproductions and you have interest in a limited edition, please send your contact information to troy@troygua.com and I will keep you up to speed. Be advised that this is highly crafted, labor intensive artwork, and must be priced accordingly.

In the meantime, please enjoy the adventures of Le Petit Prince - I consider these images part of the artwork, let them serve you in lieu of the tangible. Feel free to share them, but I ask only that you give me credit and link them back to this site (http://www.troygua.com/wo...it-prince/). Thank you for your consideration.

Much love. Enjoy...
