Wowwwww Prince? This is very disappointing for me for a lot reasons. 1) I think 'Dance 4 Me' is cool as it is, the remixes I heard, only added to the production that just over killed it. While it's a cool song, it was always, one step away from being OVER produced, and I am sure the remix will achieve this over production, within the first 5 seconds. Haha 2) Dance 4 Me is from 2009, and while this electric house music is dominating the charts right now, I thought (In a perfect world) he could release something NEW & Fresh that would still wreck the clubs. I know everyone isn't into funk persa, but something with the signature of 'Dance 4 Me' released now, would be better. 3) Also, I read they will remix '2nite' by Bria Valente. That song is garbarge..one of the worst from the album! Lol, They can't do anything with 'Home' or even 'All This Love' Damn even 'Here Eye Come' but '2nite'? He really has, still a poor choice for singles. 4) I am not angry at Prince or on his nutsack...lol. I am just stating how this news is 'News' rather an inviation for backlash, and this time I understand it! Haha...Even though the Camille effect can do no wrong. Lol I hope this time, this 'remix' or whatever he is distributing with Purple Music will be only the appetizer to the next meal Prince is offering. :) Prince seems to be on standby just touring & such, and I mean that's cool! He needs a little break to birth his creativity. He wants the cash & that is where it has always been! I think this time around, this music break is vital. While we are (I am anyways) spoiled to get an album every year, sometimes two albums a year...we are having to wait. I do hate this waiting period, but it seems worthy! Judging from his recent interview his band is a bad influence & they have relasped. I can't wait to hear this next album. He might need to wait until mid-2012 who wants to wait that long? Certaintly not I! Lol. (I know a lot people wouldn't mind..lol) But if it is of the prestige as Lotusflow3r..Bring it on! I want that sound Prince only can bring. Something that reflects the notion that he really just gets better with time! :) I have faith that is where we are going. However, this remix of 'Dance 4 Me' is just sadl IMO. It would have been more exciting if it was done in 2009, but the music around that time wasn't as 'Electro' as it is now. Also considering Prince doesn't follow time, he probably just went the flow now. Lol What he likes to call the Everlasting Now! Lol I'm banging to 'Dance 4 Me' now! It is a jam! "Your flamengo eyes, I love like jazz, every other sip of what's in your glass, sexier you get..the more you enter my stash! I like it when you dance for me!" (Guitar solo) ;) I would love a video released with this too! If Bria was supposed to dance in the video, now it will be Andy doing her Camaron dance..hahaha (Kidding) It's Button Therapy, Baby! | |

doesn't this seems like a desperate move from Prince, like he wants a hit - or else I can't figure out....... why..?
why not re-release the Warner hit albums remastered or some new music....... that would be far more interesting.
Like you guys said above, "Dance 4 Me" is cool as it is,
Altho since I haven't heard those remixes, I will still give it a try.......
but this is really strange.............?

it would be hard for it to be worse than the original. In my opinion it can only get better. I would prefer for this not to happen at all and he give us something else new instead. Even a download cd only of b rate tracks from back in the day would make me happy. This dance 4 me bs...yuk!! | |

what a mess......are we talking about the same song here...........Dance 4 me, off Lotusflower, mixed by David Alexander -- icon mix ? this remix sucked and the song at best is just "ok". I cant beleive he is working a song that came out in 2009
A better choice would have been Valentina and if he wanted it to sound cool he sould have asked Miguel Migs 2 do the favor. | |

or how about this, make it a contest of sorts........discover new talent by letting DJ's, fans......submit an original remix, and the best 7 make press.
