Changing the lyrics is the smallest part of the problem. Changing the music is the big problem and slowing the tempo down should be punishable by death.

I can't really disagree with that, except all I will say, is that what we have got, is better than nothing IMO. I know many will disagree with that but hey, it's all about opinions.

I don't hate it... But I agree, I doesn't come close to the Raw, Sexual Energy of the original...

I guess the best part of this being released is that he'll probably put it in his Live repertoire. I imagine the live energy & the NPG could add a little of the life back into the track...

AND... Prince, for someone who has a personal vendetta against illegal file sharing, you should know that not making the track available globally only encourages people to pirate your material...

There are a lot of us who would gladly pay .99cents If only we could.

I see him remaking it the same way as I see one of our old local R&B stations from back in the day that used to throwdown hard, still continue on today under the same station name but now plays music that is a disgrace to the way the station used to be. It alters the memory of something that used to be great.

Yep. I do not know why he can't make lyrics flow anymore. Lately the lyrics come out of his mouth all jangled up like square pegs trying to fit in a round hole. Sings the lyrics like he is reading them from a teleprompter for the first time in his life.

The small clip does not do justice to how bad the full clip is. Makes MplSound sound like avant-garde fine art.

He does keep most of the dirty lyrics, which is surprising.

On my first listen to the snippet I pretty much hated it.

The whole badass drive of Extralovable was gone. Gone.

I just listened to the whole song and I was seriously grooving

within about 30 seconds. It would be so difficult to seperate yourself

from the demo, but if you could hear this as extralovable for the first

time, I think you'd really be in to it. It grooves. And the verses and

choruses of this song are just killer no matter how you slice it.

I'd like to hear the reaction of someone who has never heard

the original.

Yes it's Extralovable 2011 for taking or leaving. I think I'm ok

with having both versions. I could see being in the mood for this.

I also like being able to hear what he is singing for the first time

although i do suspect some lines of the lyrics have been updated.

Of course anyone in their right mind would die to have a mintly

mastered version of the demo.

I also noticed that he says scandalous in there somewhere.

I am just as shocked to see this remake surface as I was with

IALRWNL. Those are two heavy hitters from the Vault.

AND

If the song is about dancing naked, bathing together & uncontrollable lust... Then Yes.

My comment was more about the vibe & energy of the track, not a commentary on Prince & Andy's relationship... I couldn't care less about their ages to be honest. I just want good music.

Ok, I just listened to it again and you know what.... I was wrong.... he really fucked this up with his new stupid lyrics that make no fuckin sense.

Really, really.... why do you change the lyrics and they don't even rhyme in some places.
