Hard to say this year!

The Paris show was very, very good. But so were the North Sea Jazz Festival gigs in Rotterdam, or the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy. And looking back, some of the L.A. shows were also outstanding too!

Said this, I totally dig your question, as in most tours is easy to tell apart which were the "best" shows once the tour is over (taking for granted how arguable that concept is). It might be just me, but on this tour might be easier to pin down the few "worst" gigs, leaving an inmese majority of outstanding gigs.

You can hardly consider this 'one' tour in my opinion.

American dates had the symbol stage wich gives a totally different experience then the European ones. In europe there was a huge difference in venues as well.

Nope.
At least consider the Gent gigs. Both.

Everyone will have their own opinion based on which shows they went to.

But your right, the U.S part would not be so good because of the Symbol stage.

Zurich was my favourite as a greatest hits show...a really good vibe, great energy level...

But the North sea jazz festival shows Number 2 and 3 were outstanding...

The North Sea Jazz and Melkweg are probably the best from the Euro Tour.

That's quit unreasonable.

You can read reviews, see clips online, listen to the bootleg, check the stories on Prince.org.

Have a look at 'The W2A: Euro Tour Song Survey' http://prince.org/msg/12/362417

Duh.

How do you really experience a gig?

Know what worked and what didn't there?

Without even specifying how few is a few, to say that that is unreasonable is strange indeed.

With the euro 2011 shows being as diverse as they could be, how can one say -having seen just one show- that their show was the greatest?

No, videos and reports are not definitive helpers here.

Must agree with udo on this.

It's the armosphere and crowd that goes with the concert.

I went to 6 of the euro concerts and i would only judge on those 6.
