Funny how some people on here think that Prince is "name-dropping" to stay "hip" - erm, it's a fact people!! Macy and Common were at his Celebration! What should he say, "Fred and Pete were there!"??!!! lol
Prince once said in interview that, when he was younger, most of his songs were fantasies, because he wasn't living that life at the time - money, women etc etc. Now he doesn't have to fantasise, he can recount actual experiences. If Common came to your crib, would you NOT tell anyone??!!! hehe ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...

Now when I first received TRC, this was the one song, I kept playing over and over. I couldn't get off of this one track.
This song is so sensual in the most conceptual way. I know some will say that it has nothing to do with sex, but IMO it does, except it's not on the RAW, in-your-face Prince way we're used to. I don't hate TRC, but it was a lot better live. Mellow, yeah, now a song I can fall in love to all over again. **************************************************
