This Day In Prince History: Sheila E.'s Sheila E. album

16 years old today (Feb. 19th) - Sheila E.'s third album, with five Prince-penned tracks (I forget which ones at the moment).
This is where her solo music started to develop into real solo music as opposed to just recording what Prince had for her. It was pretty good, too, I think.

I think it was Her Best Album Associated with Prince but She didn't do any heavy Promoting of it so it just collected Dust.in all Honesty it was Better at the time for me&it hasn't dated well for me but back in 87 "Wednesday Like a River" was my Cut.

Most of the songs have that Dream Factory era sound, you electronic toms for the snare, pop Funk all over, rock numbers, an interesting and very cool album, slightly more sophisticated than her previous albums. I was satisfied when I heard it.
