Yeah yesterday after tix didn't go on sale and then a secret show failed to materialize people got ALL panicky. "Well I heard this and I heard that. No more shows! Oh noze! I haz give up hope!""

Today brings a sigh of relief.

I have been working with Live Nation reps to cover this series & have been in touch with them through the whole thing. I can assure you they've been carrying on business like everything is happening as "planned" while admitting they generally have no more info than what you can see on Ticktmaster and everything is happening on aminute by minute basis.

One of their reps, when asked if there was idea when the next set of dates would be announced or go on sale, responded "There is NO information, and I'm not being coy."

Everybody says more or less the same thing. They have no idea what he's gonna do. Prince wakes up in the morning and decides what to do that day, and that's the way the whole thing is run. Last-minute chaos and confusion is part of the bargain.

Hope those people in line at the Troub right now have a real nice last-minute chaotic show.

This so-called report is what non-journalists do all the time. They don't care to fact-check their information before releasing it, because it's much more important to them to "break" a story and get attention. As critical as some people are of Prince's behavior, it's surprising that they don't scrutinize these gossip-mongers with the same fervor.

Oh yeah Bart... You're so damn right. How come I did not think about this before? Prince checked your posts yesterday and felt really concerned knowing how much influence you have in the whole wide world. Your comments would have probably destroyed his career forever. So he decided to play a fabulous set at the Troubadour and to add 6 mores dates in LA + 2 more in San Diego.
