Funny how it is never his fault. His album flops? The record company's fault. His concert series flops? The promoter's fault.

Concert series flop????!!!!!!!!! What the fuck are you talking about? eek

come on, we've all been around long enough to spot the pattern of behaviour from P. Bart is 100% correct, you could see this coming a mile off, ticket price discounts are 1 thing BUT the surely the huniliation of dropping them low was too much for P's pride. As I've said from day 1 what sort of ego must he have to think he could book that many dates with soooo little notice, it's pur commercial suicide and Live Nation are way better off without him. Hey, I still love the dude BUT he still continues to make some shockingly bad business decisions - however as always he will bounce back!.

Does anyone know who would be considered an "International worker" or band member that Jawn talked about?

This could be a total blessing. Why not move the remaining shows back to The Roosevelt or The Roxy? Call up Michael B and Sonny, and just rock out! I'd rather pay $200 for a stripped down show of b-sides than $25 for the hits-parade again.

PRINCE surprise performance in L.A. tonight!

But where?

Troubadour? Hotel Cafe?

Or......more than one?-Dr.FB

If band members aren't getting paid and "quit on Sunday" it will be interesting to hear who plays tonight...

perhaps he is going to finish the reamingin shows in a hit n run style tour in smaller venues, therefore still completing his promise of 21 shows but on a much reduced scale?

on the plus side normally when prince is pissed this normally results in stellar shows so whoever attends is in for a real treat!

Isn't Renato from Brasil? Wouldn't he also be one of the folks with the work visa? Wow, sounds like Prince had quite a temper tantrum to start canceling folks' visas. I had a strange feeling that band members weren't being paid. I mean if your own lawyers sue you because you haven't paid them because you were being sued by someone else, uh, DUH....

Trolls be gone!

The 21 shows were all supposed to be at The Forum.

The idea behind the run was to "save The Forum", He sure has said it enough times.

The fact that this has gone from one confirmed week off (next) to looking like this week off also, with an uncertain future is weak sauce.

And now P is using Drfunkenberry to break news confused lol confused

That's the odd thing about Prince, when things don't go his way and he's angry, his next performances turn out to be great. Same with his music.

I really feel bad for our man Prince. He works his ass of but never seems to get ahead. Sure most of it is his own fault, but still, don't like seeing someone like him down. Especially at his age.

Hopefully things are not as bad as they seem and things turn up.

I think the Church that owns the Forum has been having problems keeping it open in recent years due to the economy.

I'm sure he'll be fine but you gotta wonder...why does he always get into these types of situations? I really don't see why he's having these problems.
