Temptation? I have to go upstairs to find the song but doesn't it have that screaming end with dramatic saxophone?

I think I'd have to say Thieves in The Temple.

"U said u loved me!"

"U said I was your friend!"

"U were supposed to take care of me!"

"U lie! Lie! Lie"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh."

I can really relate to the ending. And when Prince is screaming it, I feel so much better about the situation.

First concert: January 18, 2011 & then February 7, 2011 at MSG. Best concerts of my life.

Yeah, Beautiful Ones pretty much nails it the point where really no other song climaxes quite so passionatly like that. But I do really like the building endings of The Love We Make, The Cross, I Hate U, Savior -- too many to count...

Darlin Nikki is a good choice.

For whatever reason the first thing that jumped into my head was the end of Endorphin Machine.

I like the crescendo of the "choir" at the end of Adore.

Also love the ending on If I Was Your Girlfriend. "Well try to imagine what silence looks like. Yeah, we'll try to imagine what silence looks like. Yeah we'll...." (song cuts off)

machelle

the two that come to mind that haven't been mentioned:

the dance its just not fair! its just not fair!

into the light [it builds and just cuts off into i will]

but i think things like the repetition on my computer and comeback or the sounds of him walking away on one nite alone can make an ending really striking too.
