3 Chains of Gold comes to mind...

...and we have a winner!

Word.

3 Chains of Gold is obviously very dramatic but that's because the huge amount of pathos involved in the end of the song. certainly it's just my opinion, to me even a song like old friends 4 sale ends in a more dramatic way than three chains of gold, considering also the content of the lyrics and from a more "to the bone" perspective of what drama is like, rather than the pompous queenish finale

Oh and "DELERIOUS"!!!

That baby sound at the end it PRICELESSSSS!!!

It may not be dramatic but it deserves recognition!!!

The folks from Brooklyn play da bass pretty good but the ones from Minneappolis play it like they OUGHTA SHOULD!

I think I'd have to say Thieves in The Temple.

"U said u loved me!"

"U said I was your friend!"

"U were supposed to take care of me!"

"U lie! Lie! Lie"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh."

I can really relate to the ending. And when Prince is screaming it, I feel so much better about the situation.

I totally agree! It's got to be Thieves in The Temple. I was listening to that track a while back and at the end of the song the " Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." A friend of mine asked me if that's the part where he dies. Lol! Dramatic indeed.

Sorry this is an unreleased song, but....

"Extralovable" when he stars the "I'm on the verge of rape...Don't make me have to drag u...I can be very cruel" part. Actually, that was a little too dramatic.

Not to sound cliche, but the strings at the end of his most famous song are pretty dramatic intentionally of course. However, my vote goes to 'The Dance'.

I know a lot of people do not like the ending to Temptation but it has my vote on most dramatic ending cool

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

I'm usually a read-only. My hands are shaking as I type this. I'm so shy... The past 7 years I've been reading the forums and hardly ever put in my 2 cents but I thought I'd weigh in on this thread for sure:
Wow, yes some very great answers!!!!

3 Chains O' Gold, Endorphinmachine, & The Dance were the very first 3 that came 2 my mind.

The songs cutting off YES!!! Almost thought these were malfunctions when I first heard them:
Life can be so ni-
If I Was Your Girlfriend: "We'll try to imagine what silence looks like. Yeah, we'll try to imagine what silence looks like. Yeah we'll tr-"

Savior and Thieves in The Temple - agreed too

"Had U" is hot. Funny enough he could have had that song go on for an hour and created multiple different verses. Left me wanting more for sure. But maybe the short sweetness of it is what makes it so dramatic too....
You look at a song like "Had U" and then look at a song like "We can Work it Out" made at the very beginning and it astounds the mind how the pendulum swung from one end to the other in that matter of nearly 2 decades.

And now... of course... no matter how much we try we can never avoid it... the OBLIGATORY mentions of that one P-R- album that came out in 1984.....
Darling Nicky - totally I agree

AND OF COURSE:..the very very dramatic.....
COMPUTER BLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHAME ON YOU GUYS FOR NOT BRINGING THIS ONE UP EARLIER... LOL or forgive me if eye missed it.

ALSO DA BANG, BANG, BAAAAANG!!!!!!!!!! That's another I will throw in. "Da Bang" needs props in the dramatic department as well...

If I Could B Muse 2 the Pharaoh...

She's Always In My Hair, extended version.

Screams, double kick drum, organ going overboard.

But now that I think of it... When Doves Cry & Purple Rain are obvious, but good contenders. The Purple Rain coda always left me puzzled, like you don't know what's going on, are these strings supposed to make me relax or freak out ?

First one for me that came to mind. nod
