It's okay if take it as being something of a song for kids with a bit more interesting second half. I don't understand how anyone can say it would have fitted Parade. Thank goodness it was left out.

Gold, Nothing Compares 2u, Sexy MF, and Emancipation.

Gold because it sounds so forced. It wants to be Purple Rain II so bad, but it's just not. I was lucky enough to be part of the video for the Gold Exp videos, but every take during Gold I just looked around and wondered what the hell everyone was all happy about. One guy in the video looks like he just shit in his pants and the warm sensation gave him a big ol weird smile. I kept looking at that guy and was like, what the hell is wrong with you?

NC2U has just lost it's shine over the years. The Family did it ok at best, Sinead did it great-but she's missing a few marbles. Prince and Rosie did it pretty great, esp Rosie. Now when I hear it I want to say "Just let it go, please". It's a great song, but it had it's run. Just like Darling Nikki was great, but thankfully, is retired for good.

Sexy MF is not sexy because of the title IMO. Song's ok, but nothing's sexy because I say it is.

Finally, Emancipation: Watching Oprah "work out" to it - like she works out yeah -- and then she's singing "Emancipation...free free free", when Prince was on her show. Gives me chills down my back cuz Oprah has zero rhythm. Whitest black lady on the planet. And what is up with her before makeup and after makeup? That is two different people. Oprah is scary without makeup. She must have some kind of face plate she sticks her head in right before she goes on the air.

I could never stand The Cross. It should've been left out of a masterpiece like SOTT.

You can count virtually anything from 2004 onwards.
