So What is The best album Since Sign O The Times Many of Prince's albums have been hailed as his best since Sign.
What do the orgers think is the best album since SOTT.
I'm sure most would say Lovesexy.
Here how I'd place them

Lovesexy..then best since Lovesexy was Batman..then since Batman was Symbol..then since Symbol was Gold...then since Gold was Rainbow Children..then since Rainbow Children was 3121

Good question. For all its flaws it has to be LoveSexy after LoveSexy its a very tough call. I think Gold Experience will be the consensus choice.

It's a tough call but I would rank The Black Album, Lovesexy,
If I could wish one Prince album out of existence it would be Rainbow Children, hands down. | |

and The Gold Experience at the top. I also really love Come and Chaos & Disorder though I might be in the minority there.Each album is a return to form after last year's disappointing _________ My Legacy

Can't pick one, really. I'd say my favorites in no particular order are Lovesexy, Come, TRC, Musicology, D&P, ONA (Piano and Vocals, not the live one), The Truth (if you're going to seperate it from Crystal Ball) and Lotusflow3r. Chaos & Disorder isn't a great album (imo), but it holds a special place for me personally. I love the instrumental albums, too. I'd choose ALL of them over several of the albums with traditional songs. | |

Every album between 1978 and 1989 are his best albums. He was still setting trends to that point, not following them. It's when he went head long into rap in 1990-1992 that his music suffered. However, the mid 90's had the holy trilogy of Come, Exodus, Gold. So the best since SOTT, after the 80's stuff? I'd say | |

20Ten may move up soon. It is honestly the first Prince album since SOTT that I've been able to listen to straight through repeatedly. I do have some issues with it, but nowhere near the issues I've had with all the other albums since 88.
