I Kindof agree with this
totally agree on it. Its like do i really have to read 8 threads to find out the same things? I mean i know everyone is interested and confused because....its Prince and he has made a career of being just that...interesting and confusing, thats how u get them back, but i think its like on the Non Prince part of the site and its 19 threads on MJ and JJ and then Lady GaGa, and enless threads on how much people dislike Alicia Keys on the org.
That's exactly what it looks like. 100 stickies on here and 100 threads about the same artist. |

Prince fuckin' up again.
Guy needs a manager...or a brain
Have you heard the new album yet, or are you just blindly judging the magazine/newspaper distribution method?
The distribution method itself is actually a pretty good idea - get your music out there, and get butts in seats the next time you're in town (which is where the real money is made). The problem with Planet Earth was the album wasn't good (widely considered a "flop" musically). Even most die-hard Prince fans aren't crazy about it.
If this new album is good, it could mean more media album deals in the future.
As a Prince fan, I say that "Planet Earth" is a Superb album. Those of us who Play Instruments(more-than-one) are the ones who Really Understand and Appreciate his Music.
According to the psychologists from Vanderbilt University:
"Professional Musicians think differently than non musicians. They use a creative technique called divergent thinking. They also use both the left and the right sides of their frontal cortex more heavily than the AVERAGE person".
Reading Music(left brain hemisphere); integrating the written music with their own interpretation(the right brain hemisphere).
MY Favorite songs from "Planet Earth" are the following:
"Planet Earth", " Somewhere Here on Earth", "Mr. Goodnight",
"Chelsea Rodgers and "Lion of Judah" |

Call me dumb then, because Planet Earth is easily in his 5 Worst albums. You are entitled to your opinion though, but never once did I say that Planet Earth was a poor album sonically. The Instrument Playing (as you like to capitalize) is superb. The songwriting is amateurish at best for the majority of the album. |

20Ten stickies being revised... Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |
