mm and the over zealous random dancing, and the moving around in his seat all night before he played. maybe its just me but it feels like he was either drunk or speeding.

Maybe he needed to use the bathroom? (lol) My friend told me he has a woman out there so he was excited and showing out for his woman maybe? A good lamp is the best police. *Ralph Waldo Emerson |

I was there last night and the show without Prince was fantastic. I'm not a Larry Graham fan but I have to give it to him, he puts on a good show and he was slappin the shit outta that bass. I can see why Prince has been influenced by him where music is concerned. Me and my crew sat nearby where Prince was and it was cool catching glimpses of him moving around and groovin with the music. I saw him stand for LG towards the end of one of his songs. Then Prince got up and moved towards the stage and we knew what was coming next. I'd say 10 mins later, Prince popped up and played with Larry and the band and it was FIRE! I will say I agree with DP, I didn't really hear Prince on the mic but his presence was enough for me. He looked fantastic and he was moving and dancing pretty good too. It was a great night and seeing Prince made it even that much better. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that |

Well I wasn't staring at him the whole show now . What I could see was that he had friends and associates around him or they came to him. No smooching involved

The whole Baby Brother (Prince)/Older Brother angle took another twist: now Prince is dressing like Larry Graham, with the double breast suit and tie? Seriously, the brotha looked sharp as a tack and cool to nice him support his longtime friend. I just wonder why Prince rarely uses Larry for recordings? 3121 #1 THIS YEAR |

if LG's influence over Prince is great enough to make Prince dress like him, and LG sees this happening and ignores it, (or gets off on it) then that aint cool.
this too shall pass |

I just saw new footage on Dr Funkenberry's website and it looks great www.drfunkenberry.com. Man just revisiting the show last night gives me goosebumps all over again! I need a full Prince show here in NYC! I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that |

OMG - that little smirk when he came onstage and the crowd went apeshit just made me like a little girl.
And that suit is immaculate. Cut to within an inch of its life. It's so nice to see him a suit that doesn't look like it was handed down from somebody's father. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

You know you're right! His clothes have been looking too baggy in the last few years but that was not the case last night. With the new do, this clean look and the energy he had on stage, I hope that this is a good sign for the future. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". Either too baggy - or too woman-ish (like that suit he wore on Ellen last year).
This jacket is perfect. Cut narrow enough through the torso to fit his frame, but not too short (like the Ellen jacket). It's a perfect man's "finger tip" length. A jacket like that makes him look lean (but not too thin) - and taller.
Contrary to what someone said earlier, the jacket is not double breasted. I don't like him in double-breasted suits. They add bulk around his middle, which makes him look shorter. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |
