I have been to ten shows in the D.C area. Larry was only at one of those concerts and I have only heard P do Sly songs at two concerts and he certainly did not do more than two Sly covers. I do not count aftershows as official concerts and for all the Larry hating on this board these two have only worked on one Larry Graham cd together in the last decade. Get it out of your mind that Larry Graham is using some sort of mind control on P. I think dude does just what he wants to do and some of you need to get a life and accept that dude is a JW or move on to another artist. Or just get over the fact that Prince does associate with other black people because I swear if he was hanging out with Mick Jagger or Eric Clapton most of you would stop bitching in a minute.

You can't reason with obsessive fans.....

You are right Murph. I just sometime cannot get over the number of disturbed people on this board.

I can guarantee they aren't cheap because I've worked for a billion-dollar clothing company for 15 years - and I have 40 years of sewing experience on my own, which includes choosing buttons. I have no trouble spotting a cheap button - and with all the custom clothing he's worn, I'd be willing to bet Prince can, too.

Bone buttons on white linen...good grief. And what the heck is "faux ivory?"

Yeah, because Prince doesn't have shit taste. lol Money doesn't buy class or taste. And faux, from the French, meaning fake. (But I'm sure you knew that.) Ya know, because real ivory is kind of hard and illegal to come by. rolleyes Whatever. I'm done arguing with you because you always have to have the last word.

Goddamn, this thread is a perfect example of why I rarely post here anymore, particulary in this forum. Everyone is a fucking expert on everything.

did you try to google drfunkenberry and follow the link from google rather than your "favorites" ?

also did you check your internet security options to make sure its not on set on "high" but rather medium.. if it's on high it prevents you from accessing certain sites..

[Edited 6/20/10 9:26am]

Hi Thanks for replying smile

Yes I have tried dropping the security + accessing through goggle and twitter and more, restoring my programmes to an earlier time - Nada.

diognstic states not a problem on my computer - stes site might be down but I know its not ??

can't access from either firefox or explorer.

just can't figure it out ?? sad

Sometimes when ur computer crashes it associates whatever u're working on as virus potential so maybe it's blocking that url.. you said you restored programs to an earlier time, did u do a full system restore choosing a date prior to the crash? also did you look in Iexplorer options to see if the url is not in the list of blocked sites?

the site works fine for me so it isn't down..

Prince never had flow3rs planted there before? R they LotusFlo3rs? I think Prince does live there. From what I got from what I heard Larry say in an interview....Can u take a picture of how it looks with the flow3rs?

yes Prince has always had flowers flower during the times i went, whenever it was warm enuf that is.

I think they were Petunias but can't be sure that they weren't LotusFlo3rs, eye only saw them from a distance. But I'm pretty sure they were at least partly purple

No eye can't take a picture of the flow3rs becuz first of all, I respect Prince's privacy and he'd have to give permission for me to take a pic (even tho the gates were open, I saw vehiles and people around ...but I'd never go in without an invite)

I came pretty close to missing the concert @ the Zoo. Even tho I had my tickets, for some reason, I thought the show was in July. I've been pretty busy and hadn't even looked closely at my tics. But the second I knew it was the next day, I dropped just about everything. I didn't find someone to go with. Sure, I had hoped Prince would be there, but thinking it was a July concert I figured he'd be in Europe and I guess I lost track of the exact date planning to look it up later.

Someone was looking for a tic when I arrived. That person was using a cell phone to take pics, but it wasn't my idea and i'll never see those pics. I'll probably never see him again but we had a center view and he was one happy funkster. Me too!!

If it hadn't been for an 'org note,' I might have missed this thread and not realized that it was happening the next day. I'm so glad, I'm so glad, I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad, that I found my way and saw that show Friday nite. headbang guitar

ps Thanks Prince.org for sending the org note notice to my email : )

Good suggestions but - system restore will not give a piont prior to crash -I have checked blocked sites and flushed dns cache = think I will have to take it back to the man as it is beyond me. Strange how it is only that one site -?? no biggie it will all come right - kisses

Honestly, I heart Prince so much that I'd gladly listen to any artist he brings out. I've never felt any negative feeling toward any of them and appreciated the chance to hear so many different artists. He brought lots of musicians to the forefront which included ... and still include.... various genres. I first saw Mint Condition, Alicia Keys, too many to mention, for the first time when they played at Princes' Celebrations.

Any frowns or negative opinions toward any single artist, take away the beauty of what it's really about: The MUSIC. Times can be mared because of someone's personal agenda or opinions imposed on others.

Most of the time now I go alone unless I find someone who I really know will enjoy the concert. If there's any small chance that Prince will be there, if there's any way for me to go..... I'll be there. PRINCE is #1 and so much FUN and IMO the most Magnificent Magician alive guitar rainbo dancing jig All the rest are icing on the cake.

It's so much better when it's enjoyed and appreciated for what it is headbang music the whole experience is wonderful, positivity is the attitude to wear. guitar flower

You have the right attitude colorblu. It's about the music for you but for some it appears to also be personal when it comes to Prince. I think he helps cause this with his Magnificent Magician hands. Going overboard with the riddles and his magic Tricks can ruin the whole experience for some.

& u suggest i'm starting rumours?!! lol

Yes. I was there, were you? I was with someone who knows what Tina & Larry's daughter looks like and that's who it appeared to be. It could have been his PA, or Rhonda Smith as someone else mentioned. Bottom line, he was not with a girlfriend or new love interest, as you insinuate. So speculating about him and the other women at the table is tantamount to starting rumors. Who the fuck cares whether he has a (new) girlfriend anyway; isn't all about the music?

But thanks for reminding me why I hate this forum.

what's being there got 2 do with anything?! i seen plenty of reports by people who were there, all claiming the prescence of an unknown/unidentified woman.. i don't give a tom tit who she was, but i'm glad i managed 2 piss u off & anyway hark at u!.. u &/or your mate did a good job at cracking your necks to see who he was with ‘he was with blah…& blah…the bottom line he was not with a girlfriend or new love interest’.. nosey much?!

I just saw new footage on Dr Funkenberry's website and it looks great www.drfunkenberry.com. Man just revisiting the show last night gives me goosebumps all over again! I need a full Prince show here in NYC!

OMG - that little smirk when he came onstage and the crowd went apeshit just made me giggle like a little girl. touched

And that suit is immaculate. Cut to within an inch of its life. It's so nice to see him a suit that doesn't look like it was handed down from somebody's father.

WOW! Love seeing Prince looking happy to be where he is and having a good time, and that suit is a slice of heaven. Would have loved to been there. Keep playin' that funky music Prince! lol woot!

This thread makes me happy. It is just the kind of thing that I wish Prince would do plenty of. He really isn't into huge tours and doesn't seem to have any immediate ones planned for the U.S.. So popping up here and there unexpectedly is a great second best. Also, he doesn't have to deal with all the promo, he also isn't making big $$, it is just him having fun and jamming.

I would love to see him take the stage with a variety of old timers, before they aren't playing any more. Little Richard, Chuck Berry, etc. The audience would go go crazy, but it would also be very special to the guys who led the way.

Keep it up Prince, it is time for you to have fun and not take it all so seriously. Sorry, but your a terrible interviewee and just popping up, good natured, and turning on the 1000 watts of stage presence that few have, will do so much more to bring the public closer to you then all these interviews where you seem to be playing the Riddler,at best.

There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.
