I am so wound up and tired from what I just witnessed that I didn't notice this thread and I started another one. This was such a great show, and I am so happy I shared it with my purple friends.

BTW, Rhonda told us that she is touring with Jeff Beck, and that we should catch a show. She was so nice to us when we approached her outside the club.

Honestly, you didn't miss that much. Prince only played one song and I could hardly hear him singing. He didn't do any fancy guitar solos or say much. I personally could have taken or left the Larry portion of the show (but then, I don't really know any Graham Central Station songs and Larry's mustache creeps me out). I felt like I was at some vaudeville church revival for most of it, especially when Tina came onstage and started waving her towel around!

The highlight of the night for me was actually not when Prince got on stage but when Greg Errico (the original Sly & the Family Stone drummer) played Dance to the Music with them. I think that's the first time he and Larry have played together since the 70s. He is an incredible drummer and seems like a genuinely nice guy. He played at The Bitter End afterwards with Days of Wild and after that show he spoke with every single person who approached him.
