I don't think Dance 4 Me needed a remix, it was hot enough on its own IMHO. This remix is alright but nothing to run home about. Truth be told, most of Prince's remixes don't do it for me. With that said, I wonder if more remixes will come about with this song. Hell I wonder if D4M is going to be a single here in Americia. So many questions...

Not only is the remix pretty lame, but I am SO glad that I spent $70 to join Lotusflow3r, only to get updates about Prince from other, free, sites. Thanks Prince.

as always. there's talk of a single. there's a bit of hype, as far as
you can still call it hype these days.

then, without word or anything, the song is on itunes. without those
remixes that were rumoured. meanwhile we're 3 months down the line.

then, about a month or 6 weeks after the itunes release the remixes
appear.

the video will probably be released mid november

why can't he ever just have a video ready and throw the whole package,
single, remixes, a cool new bside and the video all out there at the
same time.

there's no use for hype unless something follows it. but, oh, wait

i don't care about how he releases stuff or about any of his zany and
non-profitable marketing techniques because i'm around anyway and i'll
pick it up whenever.

but for non prince hardcores, what's the appeal? everything is always

far as the remixes are concerned. this remix is boring, repetitive and
extremely bland.

that said, i'm glad there are at least some remixes. it was about time.
and this remix is doubly bland because we're used to prince doing his
own remixes and, let's be honest, a prince-by-numbers remix on any day
beats this kind of so-so club tune.

now, how about releasing the single (3 remixes, a new track as bside,
the video and some artwork) on his own site?
