Prince DID NOT do this remix himself.
It was done by the producer Icon - as the name suggests. Here is a link to his Twitter page: http://twitter.com/IconAlexander and on August 20th he tweeted this: "If your wondering were I've been.. In the studio doing exclusive remixes for PRINCE. It's 4:00 am and I'm still on the grind! stay tuned:-)" this suggests to me that he is also responsible for the other remixes that are on the single.
