There is only one person I know who is a bigger fan than me. But other than that, I do not know anyone else.
People know I like Prince and I hate it when they say he is weird or gay. 
Of course I stand up 4 my little man and say how freakin hot he is and that he is so damn sexy. That usually shuts them up..... well at least for a little bit. | |

I have some musicians in my family who eat, breathe and sleep music and I plan that one day/night I WILL get dem dudes to watch a few clips of Prince playin and I'm gonna start wit Prince's rock and roll hall of fame solo in "while my guitar gently weeps'!!!
I don't care how effin long it takes me but I know that after that happens I'll have ppl to actually talk to face to face about Prince's music  I swear the words "HATER" is wayyy over-rated...smh | |

I wouldn't worry about it...they might have their own music they like that you don't like. Either way, they are losing out on an amazing experience.
I guess I'm lucky because I know plenty of people who love Prince music esp two of my sisters and my brother. I got them hooked by making them mix cd's of songs of his(and related artists) they would like. One sister likes hard rock and the other likes acoustic guitar and piano ballads. You know in my experiences I have come across this and I really don't care at all. It's what I LIKE! I LIKE his MUSIC. Most people I know just don't wanna spend the money on him cause his concerts are EXPENSIVE. I think most people would listen to his music and probably aren't aware of his new stuff. | |

What can ya say, ya know? I mean, ppl know the hits...but never really truly know who he is until they see him live. Musicians I know have said he sucks, but when they see him live, they are like 'I had no idea he could play the hell out of a guitar, piano and bass!' I've had women that listened to nothing but R&B and Pop all their life, so I take them to a Prince concert and magically they think he's the best thing since sliced bread. Its just how it is, ppl have probably never been exposed to him or care enough to check him out.
