TV shows are different, but I thought u would already know that. U have many Tourists that appear on TV shows and I was glad 2 see as many Prince Fans there. I loved everything about his performance. You mean, the performance of Old Skool Company on Leno? This performance of Feel good, feel better, feel wonderfull was IMO the best of all three perfomances on the Tonight Show. I think it was better then the album version: more energy, more loose. | |

It wasnt the crowd, its the band overall, it is a weak lineup plain and simple. Usually his bands are more polished, and force Prince to up his game, example being the ONA tour, now it seems that Prince has a weaker band that he has to carry, which is ok, because people are there for Prince not his band. But then again, to me, out of the 75 shows i have seen by the man, the best ones ALWAYS had the Best lineups and elevated him just as much as the material did. This lineup seems very weak, almost as weak as the Emancipation lineup was early on, with the exception of maybe Rhonda smith. I AM SOOOOO glad he chose to play another song from his Albums on the 3rd night, instead of Elixer. I just didnt really care for the album. only 2 songs i heard on there were worth listening 2 more than once.. that 2nite and the title track

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when he called Jay up on the stage for Jay to say his show-closing stuff, did he try to give Jay a high five? And then Jay didn't see him doing it so he left Prince hangin' and Prince kinda played it cool and went back to jammin'. I was like, "Oh Snap! Jay left Prince hangin'!" I know Prince was saying something like, "he's still that dude" and he could have been just pointing at him, but it really looked like he was trying to high-five him and he got left with his hand hanging in the air! Fell Better Feel Good Feel Wonderful Now thats what I'm talking about! Thats normally how it is when Prince performs a song live! It is usually better than the studio track! Absolutely bangin!!!
