Oxford St HMV for sure. Damn, thats a bit of a trek for me! The train fare alone would double the price of the album!! Ol' Prince likes to make us work for his albums these days doesn't he! www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site!

It's an added on bonus. It's like tacking on The Truth to Crystal Ball while still advertising Crystal Ball as a triple album.
While giving the US customers his amazing deal with Target, hiking up the price to an absolutely ridiculous amount everywhere else should have at least been researched first, because a product is only worth what the customer is willing to pay. [Edited 3/19/09 13:04pm] "My God it's full of Stars"

LMAO...yeah, I thought no one was going to bring that up. I have 10 copies of Planet Earth for free, what with Prince giving away cd's in a newspaper and handing then out as soon as you walked in the o2 21 nights in london gigs. Oh well, looks like we are gonna pay for the "free" copies when paying £33.29 ($46.69) for the next album. Clever.

Has it never occurred to you and all the other people whinging about the CDs not being packed with music or suggesting that he put them both on one disc, as you have, is that they were conceived as separate projects? To combine them would be just the sort of commerce over art move that you folks seem to think Prince is all about these days, wouldn't you say? But regardless, the whole package is 12 fucking dollars. What's the big deal if there's an album you don't want in there? since hes charging me 47 bucks, i think i have the right to chose which cd i want, hey im happy to pay for one new CD - but i dont want to by bria's cd as well. if i was paying 12 bucks, then i wouldnt care as i could bin bria's cd without giving two fucks, but with regards to your point about conceiving the two albums seperately i think you are pretty niave to think there is not a commercial rationale to his delivery of the CD's, its definately not for artistic reasons. i have follwed prince long enough to know that the priority of his objectives is primarily commercial and secondly artistic.

UK missed out on the SOTT tour as well while the rest of the major European countries had it and not just the USA, so it's all relative. Personally I'd have paid for Planet Earth if given the opportunity. As has been discussed before I'd prefer it with a proper jewel CD case. Now I have 14 copies of it though, I don't particularly want to pay a tenner to get it once again from an international retailer as all I want is the case. dtsborg said: THAT'S more like it *pre-orders*

I'm trying to work out what is going on with this release. I found another copy on Amazon last night for £25.99 . They only just cancelled my previous order 2 days ago, now they stick a new one up there at a different price.
Now this HMV listing with such wildly fluctuating prices is just stupid. an RRP of £42.99 but selling for £12.99, or £29.99 depending on what day and time you look at it. I think this is all still guesswork from the e-tailers, and we need some official confirmation that this set will actually be released in the UK.
