forgive me ...it for some reason reminds me of an old version of Alice in Wonderland and there was an inch worm or something smoking a long ciggarette.....She's sorta looks snake-ish or something to me....looks like she's gonna climb the wall.....????? not very kind but very honest....her eyes look reptilian to me in the photo,.blah blah blah...lol even fang-ish in the teeth... She takes much better photos than that...Prince let us see some of that beautiful hair she has tossed around a bit..... that would be hot!!!! Well according to the article, looks like it will be available for digitial download on the site when the albums are released. That doesn't make them any less of a "supporter" of Prince's music than those of U extremely excited about joining. Therefore, attempting to insult and isolate them is inane. I personally don't think anyone should quickly jump to conclusions about how horrible or great the site will be before it opens. However, if some of us hardcore fans already feel uncomfortable about becoming members just by reading this news, imagine the possible discomfiture the even larger population of people who aren't more than casual fans will feel after they discover that fee of $77....  got the e-mail bout the upcoming LA stuff, but will be HOME in NY for at least 3 weeks starting 16th of this month! Dont live in LA, but in Vegas, (majority of time since working in Vegas, currently). Would have been a short trip, and been so bored w/ the same old crap going on here in Vegas. Figures I'll be on the other coast when all the excitement begins.
Wish Prince would come back to NY while I'm home! Happened last fall when I was home, so a girl can hold out hope- even if flimsy & foolish. But what better way to hit the press than to do the Leno thing & then head east and do a Today show thing with a club gig! Just pick the day and accomodations can be made... | |

Well, i'm sorry... Once he was a sort of pioneer in this things and he deserves credit. But these days (the last years) he is overruled by a lot of other artists (from Bowie to U2, from Radiohead to NIN). This site is not a creative step forward. It's Prince's version of something that is already there (and in my opinion it's ugly, man, he has such bad taste in designing, but that aside he has wonderful taste for music!). He's still smart and copies the nowaday strategy: give away your music and try to earn the money otherwise (website/concerts). Ciao, Art. i don't believe he is that smart business wise.. I think he has good ideas, and creative at that. but i certainly don't think the business part of it is executed right. I've seen other artists create a smother business path for themselves.
