Subscription based websites have proven time and again to be a failed business model. Prince will be "number one at the bank" again for the short term. Fans will again be alienated for the long term. Awesome. I'm looking forward to the launch of the site. And looking 4ward to Prince's upcoming performances in LA. I think $77 is reasonable, after all the MPG Music Club last subscription price was $100. I think Prince is being sensitive to the difficult economic times.
