PrintableThe book is beautiful and very well made. The pictures are gorgeous. I didn't get a chance to look at it in great detail and I still haven't listened to the cd, but so far, I'm quite impressed. Very nicely done Prince. | |

I, personally, don't care to see any pictures of the women in Prince's life. Too many in there. Too many good pictures were ruined because of the photos being spread across the spine of the book. I also was hoping there would be more natural pictures and not all those posed pictures.
Oh well, still really appreciate it. But how am I going to fit this on my bookshelf? It's bigger than my high school yearbook. | |

Im glad all of them are Studio Pics. I personally hate candid photos. I like pictures that look like you can make cd covers out of them. And being a graphic designer I appreciate a GOOD photo than a lame photo anyone can take.
My other favorite part of the book goes to the Chelsea Rogers theme...  Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Was hoping to see aftershow pix, like some of you, but what was presented, it's pretty cool. And just like the song says. Prince has and will ever have STYLE. Randee and Prince did good. Got mine yesterday... the book is excellent!! Very contrived, but first class. It is HUGE, I didn't expect it to be quite so big... I was so exited to actually have it.. still waiting for the others to arrive from Amazon... I couldn't wait for them so I went out and got one from Waterstones.... it hadnt even been put out in the shop as it had only arrived...
My daughter thinks the pics are wonderful and that the Dorchester look amazing... Pretty much what I expected... very clean cut and perhaps not quite enough "action" shots from the actual concerts... But on the whole a great collection of official pics all in one place. | |

Mine just arrived today when I got home from work. It is much bigger than I expected and I love that it goes thru every night of his concerts. The pictures are just Gorgeous!!! Though I don't understand some of what he's written but let's face it I don't always understand what he's talking about anyway. Haven't listened to the music yet. I found it very pretty and immensely boring at the same time. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

well done all involved. lets face it folks, prince is now 50- we cant have the sweaty stage pics from yrs gone past 4eva (  ) very classy.

I got my copy this morning at Borders at 40% off.
It's beautifully done but im amazed at how lifeless and generic many of the pictures are. I understand capturing the essence of an "afterhours" mood but how many dull pics of an airport and hotels do we really need to see>? I was expecting at least one good shot of excited fans, instead we get many of the twins and the maid. Not even a good aerial shot of the stage. The glimpse is a bit too ridgid for me. | |

She's giggling ove a couple of the Prince pics and said "sometimes he looks like a girl"

I refused 2 wait 4 overnite delivery 2 get my copy of 21 Nitez.I searched every
local source and found it at Hastingz,located in the next town from where I live.I paid $35.00,which btw,is the best money I've ever spent.The book is SO big that I passed right by itz display on the table of new releases.I was in awe when I 1st laid eyez on it,It'z "BBB"-Big,Bold,& Beautiful! The outside jacket leaves u anxiously xcited about c-ing the cover of the book,which left me breathless.I really shouldn't have been surprised,bcuz whatever Prince doez,he doez with impeccable taste-I still have my gorgeous purple velvet box from my 3121 fragrance set,and my xtraordinary purple hat box from NPG Music Club of Prince in Hawaii memorabilia.Anywayz,back 2 21 Nitez: 4 me,BRILLIANT! The 21 Nitez r beautifully chronicled from day 1 2 day 21.The book was a journey 4 me az I lost myself in the pages.I could c myself at the airport and on the streetz of London.I've never been out of the country,so c- ing the streetz,litez,traffic,and buildingz was an adventure,especially since I was c-ing it thru Princez' eyez.The hotel suite was elegant and classy,a place that is so befitting of Prince.It was thrilling 2 c his closet with his shoez,hatz,and wardrobe.The only shocker 4 me was the plastic and "wire hanger"(Mommie Dearest) Contrary 2 what many of u think about pix of
empty seatz,I loved c-ing the seating arrangement of the 02 Arena.It'z what Prince c'z during his walk thru and rehearsalz so that he knowz whwere he needz 2 b during the show.Bsidez,how can u take pix of fanz and publish w/out a release? People r really crazy and would probably want 2 sue. So,empty
seatz was a good move-bsidez being my only opp 2 c the 02.It is also fantastic 2 c the band,singerz,and dancerz included in the book.What a personal accomplishment 2 bcome a part of Princez' show! Those lucky enough 2 play with him r truly accomplished musicianz.It was nice 2 c the song lyrix,even tho I already know 99% of them,but 4 many who complained there were no lyrix on the PE cd,now u've got'em! Now,4 the poetry-I love it! I love trying 2 interpret what was in Princez' mind and heart when he writez.  It'z that mystery that
forcez me 2 b so deeply involved in "what is the ? of him?" I'd love 2 think that we're on the same page.  U know,when folx say they "xpect the worst

And I didn't need pictures of the street, the 02 Arena, hotel rooms, etc. or pics of just the Twinz. There aren't as many of him as I would have liked or expected. I do like the CD though. Co-sign on this. I received my copy yesterday, and was pretty happy to get it. I, too, was expecting more pix of Prince onstage. I don't care to see pix of The Twinz.   There are a couple of pix of Prince that don't even look like him, to be honest.  Oh well, as I said on an earlier thread, I mostly bought the book for the CD anyway.  RIP, mom. If someone is going to make a book about Prince's 21 Nights in London, you would think that they would have more pix of Prince onstage, since that is what a lot of people like to look at. I'm confused on how he was in Prague, but still performed 21 nights in London. It looked like he was there for at least a full 24 hours, from the returning to London pics. Am I reading this wrong?  | |
