See what that movie has done to us?

There should be some kind of health insurance for that movie. Like Graffiti-care or some shit.

It appeared to be low budget. That's the first thing I noticed was that the characters seemed to struggle with their roles.

I didn't notice on account that I couldn't look past the plastic trees and paper mache bridge.

That equals at least 12 hours of natural child birth.

The exorcism of Emily Rose is NOT accurate. They never used a crucifix on her--they used a copy of Graffiti Bridge.

Graffiti Bridge is the only movie I fully support remaking without even considering the directory, actors, or script first.

You can't destroy it, either. If you try, you'll find another one laying around. And you have no idea where it came from.

Hang a copy of Graffiti Bridge outside your door--solicitors don't dare come near it.

Don't bother wasting your 8 bucks on that shit.
I tried to watch it and I could barely pay attention to the movie because of it's wierd, random inconsistency and at some point I just said fuck it and started drawing pictures. If Prince ever regret anything that happened during his career This "movie" rolleyes (which doesn't even deserve to be called that much) would be on top of his list.

um, where do i begin? it just has a dreary look to it. kinda like purple rain only without the same conviction and timing behind it. he tries to throw some mysticism in there with the girl as an angel or whatever and it doesn't make any sense. unlike its predessesor which had the bad acting and such in it. the scenes with music really propelled the movie and in graffiti bridge, even the music sequences (not the music itself, which is pretty decent) are bad. i think, really he had said all that needed to be said with these characters in purple rain and graffiti bridge was really a waste. and it doesn't matter but ingrid chavez, as cute as she is, is no apollonia.
For all time I am with you, you are with me.

There are more countries in President' Bush's coalition of the willing than people remaining at the ending credits of Graffiti Bridge.

I doubt this.

Rather, I suspect:

1. Some people watched the credits clinging to the hope that at least they might salvage the faintest vestige of justification for having wasted the previous 90 minutes of their own precious life.

2. The rest fast forwarded to the credits, at some point, close to losing the will to live, and desperate to identify every last culprit responsible.

That one of the first to defend this movie is the type of person to substitute numbers for letters (in the middle of words, no less) should give you some indication of the only kind of person it appeals to.

No home should be without this movie:

Unwanted house guests? They'll have bags packed and be sitting outside waiting for their taxi to the airport within the first 4 minutes.

Bill collectors calling? Place the phone by the speaker during Morris' "My family never had any money...that's why I'm a prick" speech. They'll never call again.

Ants? Mice? Roaches? Just hit "Play"....

If you really want to have fun, invite the JWs into your home to watch it with you. Did this about a year ago. They now knock on the door of every other house on the street but mine.
I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, keep me here.

But really, HOW bad is it? I mean, purple rain is a bad movie but I enjoy the hell out of it. Why is GB bad? What kind of bad is it. Should i buy it?

Let's see, since I just watched it the other day aftwer having found my VHS of it while helping hubby clean the basement, here is my assesment:

To this very day it still made no sense to me. It is a bit comical yet corny although I do like the musical sequences. Ingrid Chavez could have used some acting lessons before heading for the big screen, Morris and Jerome where o.k. Prince was Prince in character or was he? My favorite songs off the whole soundtrack is "Joy in Repetition" & "Release it". I was still left without a clue regarding the plot and I felt lost but at the same time relieved and a bit perky by the time I reached the ending credits.

All in all it IS a movie for die hard Prince fans whether or not you feel like watching it, especially if you have nothing else better to do that day.
