Most of Prince's Albums "Not Available" on Amazon

Ok based on a few threads today, I did a little poking around. How could Musicology be Out of Print? Well Amazon still has it and you can "ADD TO CART" meaning it is in stock. I noticed at first SOTT was either "Wish LIst " Only or "Buy new or used" from other sellers. This tells me that Amazon doesn't have them in stock. Not just SOTT but

Purple Rain
ATWIAD
UTCM
Lovesexy
Emancipation
Batman
Hits Box
1999

In fact I think the only things avail. are the last 3 albums, and Ultimate.

So I went searching out other sites...Barnes and Noble has most of the albums (including rainbow children) some are avail 1-2 weeks.

Best Buy...Most are backordered.

Virgin...3-6 weeks.

Anyone know what this might mean other than hold onto your CD's forever more? If that happened, his music would them become worth a lot of money to those that have it.

maybe its because warner r goin 2 re-produce them with digipak cases(cardboard) even tho jewel cases are cheaper to produce, digipak r more enviromentaly friendly and they r becomin more popular, thats 1 theory anyway confused
