Hmmm..tough one. The Koko club in Camden was pretty amazing so at 10:15 on the 10th May 2007 when I got two tickets that was a top prince moment..the heart did skip a beat or two..and at 2330 that night when Down By The Riverside began to play my year changed for the better....But even that that was not as special as when ticketmaster gave me 2 tickets for block a3 row a at about 1300 on 13th of September for the show that night (the bouncer even let us into the stage suites for the final encore Raspberry Beret being played about ten feet away from me!!) and then about 1400 on the 14th when the ticketmaster God smiled down on me again and coughed up 2 tickets for row a block d1 and then to top it all he played party up and ATHWIAD at the aftershow. Amazing 36 hours of my life.

I second that !It was so magical the O2 was dead silent, people were gasping for air... :worship:The aftershow of the same night was THE best night of my life ! Being in such an intimate setting with Prince who gave a kickass show and an incredible audience.... It left me heartbroken and depressed for weeks afterwards

Sept 9th main (even if we were up in the gods) and aftershow....wow!! P himself at the back of crowd b4 going on stage at Indigo, surrounded by bodyguards, and then appearing on stage in turquoise suit and huge shades, and played for 2.5 hrs....sheer bliss!!

funky 02 on 21st night! life changing experience 4 myself..
the atmostphere was electric. the crowd was mental from the minute the stage lit up. dancing & singing 4 what seemed like an eternity.

purple rain, glow sticks! purple & golden heart confetti...

no band & prince alone at the keyboard. lots of old skool...
televised by sky 2 the world! & of course the recent footage on 3121 was from 21st night!
the twins used an aerosol or something 2 write 21 on the back of his beautiful (but probably very sweaty) white suit

he gave it everything that night. couldn't keep him off the stage! i think there were 3 encores. at one point, the lights went up, announcing tube & rail etc. people were going nowhere..! 10mins later he was back

i'm totally gutted i didn't take up the aftershow tickets...

7/7/07 was awesome... however could not go to 1st Ave for the concert
but it was fun....

The whole summer of course - KoKo,The O2 and Indigo2.

But three moments from that period would be; Prince playing Something In The Water Does Not Compute at the piano

Its been a fun and interesting year for Prince fans worldwide to say the least! Although the year isn't over yet there are some notable mentions I'd like to list as my top favorite Prince moments of 2007! List your top FAVORITE Prince moments here too!

In no particular order.....

1. Superbowl Performance - absolutely amazing!


2. Superbowl Press Conference when Prince walked in, went up to the mic, said something like "contrary to rumor I will be accepting a few questions". Places his hand by his ear to take the first question, the second the reporter starts to ask the 1st question, Prince drops his hand and signals the band to play and they start the first song what a Classic dis moment if I ever saw one!!!!


3. Alma Awards - Prince and Sheila performing at an Awards show together again and walking off the stage holding hands together -

4. 7.7.7 - the whole day! 3 shows in one day, what a treat!


5. 7.7.7 - Target Center - Sheila and Prince in matching Purple outfits

6. 7.7.7 - Target Center - Prince having a James Brown feel good moment - I used to watch footage of the young women screaming over the Jackson 5 and the Beatles thinking, whats the big deal they are only dancing, until this very Prince moment, I thought those women were silly until I felt the same way... what a sexy motha-shutyomouth!!!!!

7. 7.7.7 - First Avenue - Prince's entrance onto the stage - The Twinz waiving those fans - P walking in like a pimp, Classic!!!!!

8. 7.7.7 - First Avenue - The look on Cora's face when Prince said "We gonna be here to the morning!" Priceless! At 1am, She had to be pooped and realized she had at least another 2 hours to go! She rocked it out big time!

9. 7.7.7 - First Avenue - The look on Sheila's face when the authorities were standing right beside her trying to shut the show down. She glanced at P who signaled the Band to play yet another song - you could see the internal dilemma of her not knowing whether to listen to the authorities standing right beside her or her boss - she went with Prince of course!

10. 7.7.7 - First Avenue - Prince, Sheila, Wendy on the same stage again at First Ave

11. 7.7.7 - First Avenue- When the authorities shut the show down - Prince making the promise he would indeed be back - he looked touched by the outpour of love and suppport he receive that day and wasnt ready to leave - forever!!!

12. Chelsea Rodgers Video - Associated Artists Moment - The Twinz killing that runway walk and Shelby's presence proves what a star she is!!!!!

12. Release of PFUnk - nuff said

13. S.H.O.E. sneak peak leak -

14. Minnesota Hall of Fame - no show - for being the last state to play his music from the beginning- what did they expect? bigger question, why did it take so long? Good move on Prince's part whatever the reason for the no show was!
