Having said all that and having heard the song, I fucking love it! Funky as all hell! That's the Prince I love. That's the Prince I grew up listening to. I mean he had to bring Camille into the middle of all of this! As for the words, I think there is some kind of dis going on in this but hey, par for the course with Prince. I hope and pray that with P and his camp talking to the 3 main sites, we can finally come to a resolution with things so that all parties involved can co-exist together peacefully. I'm going to be optimistic. With a song like PFUnk, why wouldn't I be?

Ok I just got home from school (after being there for 12 hrs)...and thanks to J7...I see there are new developments. I still feel the same as before:

I cant listen to his music anymore with same giddiness!
Im not buying into this!
Im not buying another album, concert tix, etc.

As much as I supported him for many, many, many years, I feel like a part of me died. I just wanna cry. I cant separate the music from the messenger. It's like separating a preacher of a good sermon who sexually assaults women or men in same church. I believe me I have been through that with my own former church and a friend who face that in my hometown. For now, I will mourn in solitude.
