regarding how Prince should run his life. Hey, I don't tell him how 2 run his life. u know what, I just let him live his life however he pleases. He knows what he's doing... and come 2 think of it, I'd probably let him get away with anything and I wouldn't care. I know 4 sure he could never completely give up music. Cuz he lives 4 it. And that's all I have 2 say about this. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

Future Baby Momma was playing on 104.1 ATL. Tom Joyner comes on after the song and states that Prince has said that he will retire on his 50th Birthday. To be honest that wouldn't surprise me if he really decided to retire. Because he's such a control freak. Prince is a smart dude. He knows that he can't control aging and that will some how some way affect his musical skills. More I think about it more I think that would be great. That would be perfect to retire on top. Prince has never been so popular and respected since the 80's. He did make a great comeback 3 years ago, and has nothing to prove at all. Serioulsy I think that would be great. Sad but great.

This is the dumbest post on here. Just because a person doesn't celebrate a birthday doesn't mean he doesn't realise when it is. he's just started this in the last 10 years. You hurt my feelings, but I still U I bet if you say it three times it will come to pass!

I really doubt that... Anyone who was alive in the 90's and was a Prince fan has heard all this before. Remember back in 1993, after the "symbol" album came out Prince said he was gonna pack it in after 15 years in the music industry. I don't think he will ever give up making music. Yes there will come a day when he's like 85 when he probably wont be doin' splits on stage anymore, but I really doubt that Prince Rogers Nelson will ever stop writing, recording, and performing music. MUSIC is his life force, I believe it's what keeps him going. God has blessed this man with SO much creativity, passion, and talent. GOD PLEASE Prince don't go anywhere, PLEASE! The world needs you now more than ever in these dark times of hatred and violent terrorism. I will be VERY sad if he goes away, because often times Prince is one of the only human beings that makes me feel good about being alive in world that is far too often sad, dark, depressing, disturbing, and uncertain. Prince has been my escape for over 20 years. Thank You Prince for what you've done for music and humanity in general, May God continue to bless you! [Edited 9/13/07 23:15pm]

I HAVE SAID IT BEFORE AND i WILL SAY IT AGAIN.PRINCE COULD SIT ON A STOOL,WITH HIS GUITAR AND MICROPHONE,AND STILL ENTERTAIN US!!! HE COULD DO THIS AS LONG AS HE LIVES IF HE WANTS TO! If you follow the careers of others who had longevity in entertainment, they all slow down and make changes that are necessary. I believe Prince could do this without compromising the thrill that he gives us when he steps on stage and does his thing, like only he can do!!!!! [Edited 9/14/07 14:21pm]
