I just think that its too big of a arena for any artist including P to really do a kick ass performance, maybe live its transfers differently but on the tube its just bad camera angles and horrid sound. I guess the stars were not aligned at the time, but I am interested to see what he does.  I think Prince DID perform at the 1/2 time show around this time. Didn't he do "Wiling and Able"??? Hopefully he insists on cameras on stage and GREAT sound flowing through our television speakers. I didn't think the Aerosmith performance was that bad, but most every other one has been. I just heard on ESPN FLorida (1080 AM-Orlando) that Prince is the halftime act.

I remember one of the Sports Illustrated articles at the time saying why didn't MPLS use their favorite son to showcase the city.
