Everybody loves Prince, his person, and his music is so refreshining 2 people, People welcomes anything that makes them feel good, and i 4 1 has choosen Prince time after time passing on whiskey and "other things" because nothing makes me feel better than Prince and and most people agree with me on that. I really pray 2 see more Prince, hear more Prince. Prince + anything = success.Prince + country music, Prince + gospel music Prince + rock n roll Prince +soul ,Jazz anything, u name it,, bottom line is people want and need Prince in their lives ,in their music Patience is a virture, this will happen, Kirk Franklin will jump at tha chance, and anybody else will b honered. Prince Roger appears and Prince Charles takes a bow, hey.that number watchin is 4 egotistical people, and Prince does not have 2 prove anything 2 anybody, tha man is blessed and touched by Tha FATHER, given talents 2 him and Prince only has 2 share them with me,by doing this, he naturally claims his reward. by sharing with u and he overstands that, dont u think 4 1 minute that he dont realize this. by tha way The Twins .....r so Gemini ..i like it.
may meekness, and peace follow u where ever u may go...

Yes! Prince gets me off, and he knows it. that number watching Is 4 people who r wonderin how tha public is reacting 2 music in order 2 see how much more needs 2b invested in order 2 turn profit.Prince IS GONNA PROFIT! so what looks like poor ratings to other people, in their case it's bad, but in Prince's case it's still better than others in terms of profit. Why should he let them invest in him to break cheese with them when he"s got the whole cheddar and tha cheese.Because he's a good person?WE LOVE U UNCLE PRINCE!..... and tha twins r so gemini, i like it.
may meekness, and peace follow u where ever u may go...

Let's not forget that American Idiot has only sold 4 million copies and that was the biggest album in America at one time, but in the old days 4 million would be weak. Purple Rain sold 10 million, let's not forget.

Is the only album ever to spend 24 consecutive weeks at #1

Well, in the UK 3121 only made No 9. It was outsold by two X-factor losers. The horror, the ... horror!

He won't sell "millions" of units anymore, because he isn't hip enough. He is too old to rock the charts.

And the album isn't good enough to sell millions either. No hit singles.

That's not the point. His last "Hit single" was beautiful girl in the world". And that was a random hit.

"I&C" for example would be a top 10 Single chart hit, if performed by a "young r&b" star.

That "Random Hit" was his 15th consecutive year with a top 10 US single. He hasn't been in the top 10 on the billboard hot 100 since.

Listened the whole week to this damn album and I'm still hooked. Prince is in rare form again and proofs that he's still enchanting the people.

"Black Sweat" is a NEW classic! And "3121" is the perfect syntax of the "Rainbow Children"! I like this one much, much better than "Musicology".

I'm with you. I've been playing it non-stop in my car and at my house (can't play it at work). I give the ENTIRE CD about 10 spins-plus a day -- every day since Tuesday.

I am listening to it right now and will be until I fall asleep ...then again when I wake up.

And it still thrills me. lol I'm so happy, I can cry. I hope this does really well on the charts...I've been encouraging people on my other websites to buy it...

eek If I listened to anything that much I'd be sick of it by day ...two. But rock on girl. lol

Actually on Sunday I got a bit nervous. I'd grown weary of it. I thought 'omg, have I been brainwashed into loving this? Have I now awakened from my purple delusions."

But I cleansed my ears. I listened to some old Alanis, Aretha, Justin Timberlake, Beethoven, Train, various Prince songs like Beautiful Strange, the Truth, Man of War...

Then I came back to the album with my tastes scrubbed clean and it was still great!! So I played it in my car and it's on repeat right now as I go to bed.

Now, I only listen to it about 5 times a day (that's easy since it's a short album). What's happening is that my favorities keep changing (right now they are Fury and Love...but then soon it will go back to 3121) Nearly every song has been a favorite at one point. I take back what I said on another thread. I do think some of these songs could settle into the classic respect that Little Red Corvette enjoys.

What's remarkable is that that album just gets better and better for me ...and I think ...wow ..this is what Prince would sound like in modern days ... you listen and his brand is instantly recognizable as soon as the album starts and it never goes away ...

His last few albums just didn't seem Princey enough to me ...but now the lyrics, weird sounds, moans, screams, metaphors, the great effin guitar excited, saying things like 'glass with chocolate handles' and even the mysterious title..this is totally what the Revolution would sound like in 2006. I'm so thankful that he has hit this vibe ...it's like before he didn't know how to be him anymore.

It's perfect. The album has a perfect vibe. May it triumph critically and commerically! smile
