nevs, I'll probably be in town, hope to catch up with ya...

That would be so cool, but I'll be there just for the show (I "have" to sadly if it was up to me I wouldn't even be there) and the night if there's an aftershow otherwise it's back to Holland ASAP 3 weeks work waiting...

When will the show air in the US? I remember when he was on there in '97 (performing Emancipation) it wasn't live in the US. I believed it aired a few days later. Any ideas on the day, time or network?

It makes sense that he would open then he wouldn't have to sit through a boring awards show.

I take he'll only get to do two songs... in that case, he should do one classic and a new song.

Here is the perfect comco for the brits.

-Fury
-Little Red Corvette

If this could be extended to five, he should do...

1.Fury
2.Little Red Corvette
3.Te Amo Corazon
4.D.M.S.R
5.Purple Rain

I wonder what he'll do since W&L will be part of it. Maybe a new song without them and an oldie with them?

I think it has more to do with we have heard those classics so many times. Little Red COrvette rolleyes and Purple rain? Come on. Why doesn't he just do 1999 and Kiss?

Hell, yeah. And that's another reson why I'll be tuning in. I love Paul Weller and everything he's contributed to music for the past 30 years. He is a Brit that is definitely worthy of this honor. big grin
