There's one thing I've noticed at all of the Prince concerts I've attended and that is all the different age groups at his concerts. We're there because of one man's talent and that is a beautiful thing. Music is a universal language.[/quote]
summer 2004 I took my daughter to her first Prince concert and she looked around at the crowd and saw all the people, she said, all ages, all colors all sizes, all sexes, preferences and genders, all here to see this one man, he brought us all together...now I understand what he meant by the Rainbow children. it brought tears to my eyes. she is soo right. I had her in Oct 1987. Sign O the times was out and people were asking me I was gonna name my baby Nate if it is a boy, I was leaning toward Camille though We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Got mad and left for Minneapolis from Califorina knowing full well he had to open for the Rolling Stones again a few days later. Changed his mind eventualy came back to California and rocked the house!
A week later my mother gave birth to a beauiful, quirky little daughter....ME!!! ditto, i was born 81, its like this...my moher loves the stones and fucking hates prince. i suppose its wrong putting a funk act with a rock n roll act as support Yep! My mother's favorite group is the Rolling Stones...followed closely by Prince. She thinks Prince is the sexiest man ever, like mother like daughter, . I'm sure the Mpls/St.Paul papers must have reported their little wonder kid getting booed off stage at such a high profile event. I wonder what she must have been thinking reading that while I was kicking her womb ready to come out!

Mattie was awarded the home on Logan Avenue. After John's departure, Mattie had to work hard to keep the family going, leaving Prince and Tyka to take care for themselves most of the time." Prince would've been 10 years old when I was born, so I'm assuming what he was doing was trying to peek up little girls' skirts or rifling through his dad's stash of Playboy magazines.

I was born in 1975...at the time, I'm sure Prince was being a highschool geek and being a musician dreaming about the big time, playing with Grand Central at all those YMCA shows..LOL and local backyard cookouts...how many wish we knew what we did back then and could go back in time and go to Central or check out some of those old high school shows or just chill with Prince, Andre, Chaz, Morris and the crew IN the mode I'm in..I know I would get along 100% with Prince during the early 80's during the "are u wet" periods..LOL...
I totally get that sense of humor... Gotta love the late 70's early 80's
