So let me get this straight. With all this stuff, you just get one song? One song that's already been released through the NPGMC....lol....u must be kidding me...

Maybe some fanatics will buy this stuff, but I would prefer some MUSIC. That's what I like about Prince, the MUSIC, not the souvineers.

Ack...I just noticed the price....even MORE absurd.

Prince is becoming like the band, "KISS", selling crap to milk the fans out of every penny of their money. Of course no one has to buy this, but those with more money than sense will probably jump at it.

Or what about a DVD of one of the shows, and a Cd with 4 or 5 of his un released songs? That would be VERY sweet too.....

I am dissappointed.. and altho I consider my self a BIG BIG fan I will NOT be buying this.....

Must've realized that they still had a surplus of Hawaii memorabilia and that if they put it all together some fools will pay $100.00; they've basically got nothing to lose.

Of course, on that same thread you have people defending why it's TOTALLY worth the money. And of course at the club strangely all of the comments are overwhelmingly positive - they all just LOVE that cute little anonymous white baby and can't wait to frame that poster and hang it over their toilet.

But you know, when I think about it.....I WAS in the market for a new hat box. Easter Sunday's not THAT far away!!

I'm Buying. I hope he sells the Purple Velvet and Red Jackets from the tour cause I need them also.

I hope he makes the 'Controversy' CD single available separately, because I ain't buying that box (I already bought the Hawaii program at the concert & I surely don't need that poster).
I know someone above said that it was available as a download, but I like real CD's!

One presumes you cannot buy the CD single separately? (as a physical CD)



Me thinks he knows there will be a) a number of fans who will buy any old tat and b) a number of fans who will buy this because it's the only outlet to get the CD.

Well, more fool them!

I guess we have a choice right...buy or don't buy. I just wish he'd put more effort into releasing...say...a Crystal Ball II, for example, or somre more live concerts on DVD and CD than putting out hats, posters, ear bling and more gobbledy gook on the npg website.
Either way, he's still the bomb...

In 20 or 30 yrs from now what will this package be worth? I spend 100.00 + a trip to hawaii, I leave this to my child and he will accept this as he see fit for all I know he can toss that in the dump along with all the prince songs I own.

The online single of 'Controversy' was in MONO! U'd think it will sound better on CD, but with Prince and his way of marketing things, u can never be too sure! It could just be the WMA file burnt on cds and u wouldn't know. Think twice! I think this is just a bait for all the new fans that consist of rich middle aged moms or something....
