Usher (in which i think is the most pig-headed celebrity out there) reps MJ always. He relicated Michael.

But on his new album "Confessions"

track 15 entitled "Do It To Me" sounds an awful lot like Prince's "The Beautiful Ones"

has anyone heard it? if you haven't, i def. recommend listening to it and rate it here 4 me.. stank u very much :smooch:

please.....dont even whisper Usher's name even in the same breath as Prince.....he couldnt even in his wildest dreams accomplish what THE MAN has done!!

this past week my 23 year-old brother inlaw said he would put Usher and R Kelly up against Prince...yes he admitted he would have to tag team prince but those 2 could do it.

I don't care for Usher but his album was playing at a party I went to recently and when I heard this song I couldn't help but think it was a Prince rip off. I think there's another song that reminded me of Prince, not sure what it's called though.

all he did was sample the beats, but guess he just tried 2 do a lil Prince tribute. He mentioned Prince at the concert last night and "tried" to kick the mic over like him, but he couldnt pull it off as good.

Wow!!! Usher is 2 freakin crazy. He tries real hard 2 sound like P on this 1. I would love 2 c him do it live and make a fool of himself. I can c why he didn’t make it a single. They would rip him apart 4 not being original. The music is defiantly a take off of the Beautiful Ones. One of my close friends has been bragging about this CD 4 too long. She is also a P fan. She knows how I feel about Usher so she doesn’t talk 2 much about him. When I read this post, I immediately called her and told her what was said about this particular song sounding like P. She said no way and how beautiful this song is. She laid the phone down while she played it 4 me. All of a sudden u could hear her screaming when she head the beginning. She said “that’s why I love this song the best because it’s P”. She was as shocked as I was. It’s like going 2 a swap meet and buying some fake Gucci. Bottom line Usher sucks. He walks around like he’s all that and a bag of chips, while imitating other artist. And 2 top it all his CD is still getting plenty of air time. In all fairness Usher needs 2 give credit to Prince. Prince was definitely an inspiration 2 him when he made this CD. LOL….
